Harry - LCFC Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 He's very overrated, I'd take him if it was somewhere between the 1-2 mill. How do you know? Do you watch him every week? I don't pretend to know myself but the way he's talked about and the fact he was in the Championship team of the season are good indicators.
VLC86 Posted 14 May 2014 Posted 14 May 2014 I can hear Dyche's excuse for spending now 'we sold him for 4 million and we haven't spent that since, so we're reinvesting that money and my wife has been on the game for half of her life so we could afford him back. If his a looks are anything to go by his wife must be a right munter so if she was on the game for half of her life she will be skint!

Stadt Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 If your using performances against us as the benchmark who would you be signing or impressed with. Yeovils squad and brightons striker? Not really ideal. It was just an observation, he's obviously highly rated but I haven't seen him play often enough.
Ric Flair Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 I can honestly see Schlupp having a blinding World Cup and this will fizzle out. My prediction is Schlupp will be our player of the season next year.
dpjfox Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 i hope we put in a reasonable offer (4mill max) prior to getting into a biiding lottery, im sure Ipswich would prefer to mave cash early rather than wait for a bidding war to be concluded. If he is on our first choice wanted list then get an offer on the table rather than talk about how much were going to spend

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Been watching him for ages. You or the club Bert me old mate

I wouldn't mind him playing there all season, think hes technically good enough, but no way hes going to get anywhere near poty.
Blue Ed Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 PLEASE NO!! we should be aiming for alot better. This... Owners have asked for a top 5 finish in three years. Cresswell, Micah Richards just ain't good enough Kind regards Ed
Babylon Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Owners have asked for a top 5 finish in three years. No they haven't.

teblin Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27387616 The BBC article leaves some of the quote out. He said he wants to be an established Premier league club after 2 years then Push on to challenge top 5 after that. “My goal is for Leicester to stay in the Premier League as long as possible. We should be able to stay there for at least two or three years and then my next goal will be taking the team to the top five... goose2010 Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 This... Owners have asked for a top 5 finish in three years. Cresswell, Micah Richards just ain't good enough Kind regards Ed a fit and playing Micah Richards would of made the world cup squad! why isnt Cresswell good enough he is in the championship team of the year the same as Drinkwater - you saying he isnt good enough? Sick of people thinking we are going to spuff 30 odd mill on a player, it isnt going to happen. We need young players that want to prove them selves in the premier league and Cresswell would be one of them
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 I like Cresswell a lot but I can't see us paying £4m+ for him. They have high hopes for Schlupp at LB. I don't see Konch getting much of a look in this season. Then again, I'm not much of fan of his to be honest.
Babylon Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27387616 You should read the whole story that they neglect to actually tell.

sylofox Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 I've literally not seen one person say we should spend vast amounts on one player... The bit at the bottom of your post is as crass as the comment by the owner. All our targets have now had a mill plus added to there price. When will our owners learn they made the same mistake with Sven. Personally advertising that fact is just as bad. We are not the big bollox our owners and some fans think. Comments like that make us look even smaller and un professional. !80m wont get us near the top five let alone in it.

Sick of people thinking we are going to spuff 30 odd mill on a player, it isnt going to happen. We need young players that want to prove them selves in the premier league and Cresswell would be one of them Pearson has a great scouting network and I bet he's got better players than Cresswell in mind that we've never heard of. We don't want to make the mistakes of Sven I think Danns was in the Championships team of the year and Peltier was really highly thought and where are they now - (I've no idea). When we bought Drinkwater he was under the radar and he's awesome - was anyone putting his name around before we bought him?

The Horse's Mouth Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 180mill and you would only settle at top half, people need to stop taking that seriously. I think we're going to hear 180mill on every transfer rumour this summer.
