Lloyd Dyer to Watford

I think Lloyd would be better off taking a year deal at Leicester, obviously with premiership wages, than 3 years with a club like Watford. He'll probably earn about the same and play in the best league in the world. If Watford went up next season , they'd sell him anyway so he'd be no better off. He's banking on them staying down to prolong his career.

Maybe it's not about the money. Maybe it's about just game time and his enjoyment of the game. You could pay me the same wages as I'm on now to do a Logan but I'd happily sell everything I own and play for City for nothing.

Loads of time and respect for Lloyd. Been a fantastic player for us. Clearly playing regularly means more to him than money and the glamour of the premiership. At his age, he's got to look at the best deal for him and his family.

Top man and hope he goes somewhere he will get games.

He's clearly going because a 3 year contract is on the table. If we offered him the exact same contract he'd have signed it despite not possibly making it onto the pitch every game. Don't be so naive. I'm not saying anyone should blame him forthat decision as it's a short career he has.

I still love him  :scarf:

He did no confirm the transfer, he just read it in the bloody paper like everyone else.

Because a professional footballer could not possibly know more than a foxes talk poster!

What like SSL, Dyers own team mate who didn't know.

And I'm sure that's why he deleted the post, because he's so sure. And I'm sure that's why he said "apparently", rather than "yes".

Use your noodle.

Watford after luke freeman (stevenage)... Who I said we should have looked at... So freeman is a left winger.. Does that mean the Lloyd deal is off I wonder????
