Transfers that never happened

I remember Radio Leicester/the Mockery going mental over us trialling Mobi Oparaku for our first season up in the Premier League under O'Neill. He played a few friendlies and never really shone at any level.

Ben Thatcher seemingly being a done deal before he decided to stay at Wimbledon. Although that DID eventually happen.

Probably on par with Gerard Houllier turning down the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and then signing El Hadji Diouf instead.

You're better than that, no Liverpool fan (on a Leicester City forum AKCJ's) needs reminding of this.

Wes Brown was close to signing in the early 00's for regular first team football to boost his chances of going to the 2002 World Cup, a fee of around £3 million was agreed but Ferguson blocked the deal. True story that as well.

Harry Redknapp, and whatever anyone thinks of him he would surely have been better than Taylor. He may well have pissed money up the wall but on better players.

It was moyes or Taylor I believe?
