Dan Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 I predict we go back to dour football in preparation for the Italy game, win 1-0 and kill the small hopes I had that we were going to start being an exciting, attacking side. I predict Welbeck plays and Barkley doesn't. Hodgson will have his reasons but I just cannot see them.

I don't care if we go out in the group stage trying to play, in my eyes that would be a step in the right direction, otherwise we will just be negative and continue to be a quarter final team at best...

How many people agree with me here - I enjoyed the Ecuador game twice as much as I enjoyed the Peru game. We attacked without fear, we showed positivity and the main reason the result was poor was because of wank defending.
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Nothing wrong with Wilshere. Holds the ball well and actually tries to run at players. He clearly isn't fit.
Jimothy Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Why is Welbeck starting ahead of Barkley? Welbeck must have something on Hodgson. He's got pictures of him coming out of gay strip club or something.
Corky Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Why is Welbeck starting ahead of Barkley? Someone on Twitter said Sterling should be starting
StanSP Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Danny fvcking Welbeck. If he's gonna play in matches, can we hide his passport for when we get knocked out so he doesn't have to come back?
Stadt Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 I'm babysitting do I'm getting paid to watch England - it'll soften the blow if we're terrible to watch
StanSP Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Classic Welbeck. Try and take on 3 players in the Honduras box. Don't bother finding a player or getting control of it yeah?
ousefox Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Think this cameraman is struggling with the zoom button.
Illusion35 Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Great to see a big Leicester City flag to the left of the goal
sdb Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Poor so far, can never really see a game plan with England. I know it's only a friendly but with what is likely to be out first choice XI (not right for me, but anyway...) we should be beating these - surely the weakest team in the tournament.
Jimothy Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Rooney's first touch!! FFS! Don't care how good he can be, if he can't trap a ball he's a long way from being as good as he can be.
Guesty Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Think this cameraman is struggling with the zoom button. It's like they've got someone in on work experience.
Stadt Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 How has Glen Johnson played in the premier league for his whole career? He's not even a good attacking right back. Ffs play stopped for the storm
