Posted 20 July 2014 Posted 20 July 2014 I don't think there is a thread or anywhere in the LCFC section where this has been posted and I would have posted this in there if I was allowed to post in that part of the forum.. But I have been informed that Cornad Logan is close to signing for Burton Albion, if he can agree to the wage cut. Make of it what you will, but I do know he has been to Burton's stadium this week.

There is no way he will overhaul Kasper or Ben Hamer now and even Adam Smith may be preferred to him in some aspects despite his age, so, after 13 years here I think it would be a good move all round.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 its all down hill for us now.. Very disappointed, he was very influential in our championship winning season, massive lose. I don't think Hamer has the attributes to keep that bench cosy, especially over the winter.

MC Prussian Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 I wonder how he'll cope with starting on a weekly basis. But in all honesty, I wish him well if this actually manifests for good. He's a more than solid goalkeeper for that level and should do well at Burton.
jock2612 Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Good luck to him!! He was never going to make it with us BUT he was cover all last season to KS and that meant we did not need to spend money on cover .Now we are in the prem that was not an option
