Buzzell Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 We do need to improve up front but we don't need to bring in 3 strikers surely?
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Don't want that **** in our colours thanks. Why the hatred? Because he scored THAT goal? I'm trying to imagine the reaction on here if Foxestalk was around when we signed David Speedie
johnny the fox Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 get him in..lets have a whip around for his bail money.. fook campbell off.. he is a legened in his own mind..
Bugg Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Why the hatred? Because he scored THAT goal? I'm trying to imagine the reaction on here if Foxestalk was around when we signed David Speedie I think it's because of him going to jail for getting into a fight and kicking someone in the head in Birmingham city centre rather than that goal.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 I think it's because of him going to jail for getting into a fight and kicking someone in the head in Birmingham city centre rather than that goal. Jamie 'pineapple' Lawrence did time for armed robbery, can't remember much fuss about that?
Robin JD Popley Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 So potentially, should we persist in this transfer too, we could have the following on our books next season... 1. Ulloa 2. Nugent 3. Vardy 4. Campbell 5. Deeney 6. Slimani Somehow, I cannot see all 6 of those being happy to play on a squad rotation basis. I think the top four is who will be here come opening day (hopefully!)
conLAD logan Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 He could have done a lot worse if you're gonna rule him out on his past, not been in trouble since either
teblin Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Strange this one. Decent player good record over the last 2 years. But do we need him as well as ulloa?
One Legged Beaver Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Going for the Argentina 2010 approach. I like it!
Eastwellfox Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Looks like we really have put in a 6.5 million bid. Has appeared in the Watford Observer and knowing the sports writer there its going to be bang on the mark. It appears they have turned it down.
Bryn Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Deeney is class like, don't let his past behaviour and his goals against us detract from that, he's a quality striker. Strong, quick, knows where the net is. I'm surprised we're going for him too but he is a good player.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-bid-Watford-s-Troy-Deeney-rejected/story-21737763-detail/story.html Sounds like he's an alternative to Campbell?
DennisNedry Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 Pearson doesn't like twats, so why the hell is he bidding for Deeney? I really would have to see him in a Leicester shirt.
Eastwellfox Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 straight swap king for deeney i reckon i would take that too
Jace Posted 21 July 2014 Posted 21 July 2014 I would rather have Deeney than Campbell based on attitude
