Karljohn Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Do other clubs have to make improved bids I wonder. . Or did everyone take note of the 180m to spend in 3 years comments.
theessexfox Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 No, it's the Announcement time that is official, not the legally binding paperwork.Okay cheers for the sarcasm, people are acting like the announcement by 12 is the key thing so I was just wondering.
queensguardfox Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Why do skysports not name cambrassio?. they only say 'Leicester are on the verge on signing a champions league winning player' Why is it kept hush hush so much? Surely they are not scared of a NP Headbutt.

kingfox Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Well that's it, heard he almost signed by the deadline but unfortunately his pen ran out. Shocking events
Buggsteam Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 If we do get him he'll be a massive anti-climax anyway. At 34 would he even be better than Drinkwater and James? Get a LB in Nige. Cmon. Mmmm let me think. He's a lot better then both of those. 34 is not old. Your telling me you wouldn't have Gerrard in your team at 34, Lamparad at 34 or even Drogba who Chelsea have just signed again at 36, or even Giggs who played till he was 40.
StanSP Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 People think it's the end of the world that a signing isn't made by the first game of the season. It's not like there's over 2 weeks left of the transfer window. It's not totally unheard of to sign players between first game of the season and deadline day.

You're telling me players don't age differently and there's no chance that Cambiasso isn't as good a player this late into his career as Gerrard and Lampard are?
AnotherShitSeason Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Hold on, he's predicting that we're finishing in a Europa league place! You know how people are on here though Wookie. Most just don't have the optimism, positivity & sheer belief that ASS possesses for the coming season.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 He'll play against Everton and shock us all.

How many prem clubs have finished all their transfer business? Probably none. United will still bring in 2 or 3, Arry has said he wants 3 or 4 which probably means 10, Palace have admitted they've missed out on transfers, Burnley are still trying to get deals done and im sure every other club in the prem is in the same boat. If Cambiasso signs soon and we get 1 or 2 more we'll be fine. Cambiasso and a couple of defenders will be fine. An extra winger would be amazing
KIRBYFOX93 Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 i reckon he will be announced at the game tommorow
fleckneymike Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 There was mention of us on the transfer dealings of SSN this morning. I took note of it because we've never been mentioned before since this window opened when I've been watching. Apparently we are signing "a former champions league winner" - but that's all that was said. Great detail there. Because if they announced Djimi Traore there'd be a riot
65RosesFox Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 from constantly reading this thread I have learnt many oif things, from middlesborough being the place to be, Cattermole the new Cambiasso. Eel's live forever. but the the thing I have learnt the most is that ITK = Incorrect Transfer Knowledge.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Having his medical at half time tomorrow.
foxfan92 Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Someone locked the thread 2 pages shy of the 100 page mark? http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-fanzone-Cambiasso-Deeney-Wood-ll/story-22738622-detail/story.html I know it's now past 12 o'clock now so they'd need to be registered to be eligible for tomorrow ... wonder if we'll hear either one went through in the 11th hour?
Carlos88LCFC Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 What the hell is 'tempory' lol Some kind of monk I think?
BigWesMorgan Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 We may as well get to 100 before this is locked again.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 To put things into prospective, there has to be a bit of concern if the deal isn't announced over today/tomorrow. The press reports we saw at the start of the week included contract details - £5 million over 2 years and the fact Pearson was furious suggests there's some truth in this, that it wasn't something that was plucked out of thin air. You'd also think Pearson must have been reasonably aware of who the source of the leak might be, because I believe Cambiasso's father/brother act as his agent - so you'd think it unlikely the he'd want to have a pop at them for leaking the story even if they had. The recent press reports are simply picking up Pearson's additional comments from his press conference yesterday in that "we're still interested" but given we seem to know some sort of deal has been offered the concern is "what is taking so long to make a decision?" Its understandable that a player may wish to have a few days to consider their future, but equally you'd hope that if we've been talking with him we would have really sold the club to him to get that instant gut feel that makes you say "yes!" especially as there seems to be an absence of real confirmed interest elsewhere. It would also make both good footballing and commercial sense for the club to try and get the deal over the line so it could be announced before or at tomorrow's game - get fans and players a like that extra positive lift. I'm sure work is ongoing as we speak, even if its just subtle contact so as we don't seem overly pushy, but the realisation is that if something concrete doesn't come soon maybe Esteban is looking for something more than we can offer and that if we're not his first choice we might be better focusing our efforts elsewhere?
Guest Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 Having his medical at half time tomorrow. Birch is doing it while some kids do a relay round the table
Cat Burger Posted 15 August 2014 Posted 15 August 2014 What the hell is 'tempory' lol It's a sort of deep-fried Japanese batter I think
