I'm pretty happy with who ever we have come 2nd September and then worry more if we're doing shite come the January transfer Window.

What I'm about to say isn't based on ITK knowledge or facts, just my thoughts on why this deal is dragging on. I think the Cambiasso has agreed in principal to join us. He liked what he saw and heard and said I would like to join, but I need to discuss this with my family. Not unreasonable in this day and age. The club probably said that's fine take your time and keep us updated. This will probably link in with Pearson flying off the handle about the leak as the club didn't want to put any pressure on him to make a decision as Pearson and the Thai culture knows how important family is. Maybe for the moment it's in Cambiasso's court and the club are speaking to him on a regular basis. Just a thought

NB THE BELOW IS PURE SPECULATION, MUCH LIKE THE PREVIOUS 95 PAGES: About 10 days ago, we thought we'd got him. Things were virtually agreed at which point one of Cambiasso's representatives leaked details of the contract offer in an attempt to draw out other suitors. Whilst Cambiasso will have been offered to other clubs earlier in the summer, there's nothing to focus other clubs' attentions than saying that he is on the verge of joining another club. Since then, Cambiasso's representatives have heard that a better offer might be on its way from another club so are stalling. Pearson, knowing what an important transfer this would be, hasn't thrown his toys out of the pram over this and is prepared to wait for Cambiasso in the hope that nobody comes up with a better, concrete offer. I mean, what can they possibly still be negotiating between Cambiasso and LCFC? There is definitely a third party muddying the waters.
