We all know how good Balotelli is at taking penalties so what's the big fuss? Sturridge needs to grow up as well. Walking off in a hump when Mario scored.

But surely you'd have Balotelli taking the penalties? basically liverpool pen 85th minute, henderson captain and penalty taker according to what gerrard said in the studio was rodger's pre match plans. henderson picks the ball up to take it, sturridge seemed to ask if he could take it got told no, then balotelli grabbed the ball off henderson and henderson walked off with sturridge shaking his head. balotelli scores of course. yeah i assumed so too, but he only came on as a sub about 5 minutes before so i assume in the pre match plans one of the starting XI was the pen taker, and that man was henderson. you'd have thought as soon as balo came on he'd be on all pens and free kicks though but not according to gerrard post match. but surely if you're captain, you're penalty taker and you've got the ball in your hand you tell your dick of a striker to **** off, not just give him the ball and walk away having a cry?!

If anything it was Sturridge making a meal of it . at least Henderson went up to congratulate and celebrate with Mario after too.
