nedfox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Well after this what will happen as we play the bottom three next ?? how many points after the next three games?
Guest Bilo Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Important we keep it going and the fans don't turn on us if we get a crap result or two. These teams will scrap and we've just sent a huge message to the rest of the league with that result. If we're in double figures by the time we go to Newcastle, it'll be a healthy return.
Matt Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 I've said it in the post match thread i'll say it again in here. I'm wary of the next two games. I'm not getting ahead of myself or bigheaded when I say the next two games we should win. I'm saying that based on who we've played, how we've played and what we've got from those games, we've done well but let's not fall apart (Which I don't think we will) against the teams who are (Realistically - i.e - 'Lesser'/Near bottom of the league teams) likely to be around us, we're Leicester fans we've seen it all before, without too much pressure we cannot allow ourselves to lose these two next games, atleast a draw (really a win) next week against Palace and nothing but a win against Burnley.
TrentFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Next few games are very different. Being on the counter-attack has suited us. Suddenly more onus on us to attack, possibly. That's a different challenge again. Scruffy 0-0's will be fine. Just keep the points coming in, that's all.
foxfanazer Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Agree TrentFox We will have to pull these teams out of opposition and won't have as much space behind. It's a different challenge but one I'm very confident we can accomplish. We have so many different attacking threats that you can't see us being shut out
purpleronnie Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 9 points and sitting pretty on top of the league.
weller54 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 5 points I think.. Palace (draw), Burnley (win), Newcastle (draw)....
RowlattsFox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 In many ways the next 2 will be our biggest challenge, but don't want to think about them yet.
Deucalion Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Enjoy this historic day but... Next week it is back to business against teams who will scrap for everything. They will certainly not underestimate us and we need to show them the same respect. Fingers crossed !!
Captain... Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Before we get carried away with the amazing result, lets just remember our worst performance of the season so far was in our easiest game, Stoke away. I know we won but let's remember how Stoke did in their game before that, they beat Man City, then lost at home to us, a game all their fans thought we should win. These points so far are absolute bonuses, but we need to play with the same belief and intensity and passion in these next 3 games, if we don't we can easily end up struggling. Points against the likes of Palace and Burnley count double in achieving our first goal, which is still to avoid relegation.

Different challenge to what we've done this season, but exactly what we did in over 40 games last season. Let's see if we can remember what to do!
weller54 Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Blimey.. Palace won at Everton today!!!... Gonna be a good match next Saturday.
Happy Fox Posted 21 September 2014 Posted 21 September 2014 Every game in this league is a challenge in it's own right but if we play like we can do we will give many teams problems I think 4 points Palace 1-2 Leicester City Leicester City 2-2 Burnley Newcastle United 1-0 Leicester City.
surrifox Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 average a point a game over our remaining fixtures and we will stay up
foxfanazer Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Palace 1 City 2 City 3 burnley 1 Newcastle 2 city 1
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Don't see why we can't win them all. But I'd happily take 4-5 points.

Stoke away could quite easily be considered a tougher fixture than Everton at home in my eyes, especially considering their home form last season. And we were poor for 45 minutes, Pearson made the required changes and we looked good. I do get what you're saying though, I personally think any away game in the Premier League is going to be difficult, Palace and Newcastle are going to be hard, we really need to put Burnley away though. with the start we've had 4 points wouldn't be the worst outcome but it's the least we should be aiming for.
Steven Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Leicester City 2-2 Burnley City 3 burnley 1 Why does anyone think Burnley will score goals?
Captain... Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Don't see why we can't win them all. But I'd happily take 4-5 points. We can win them all, Palace have been very lucky so far under Colin, they are very beatable, but they do have goals in them. Could be a very entertaining game high scoring draw for this one. We know we can beat Burnley from last season and whilst we've strengthened significantly they haven't. Newcastle are a club in turmoil and if Pardew is still in charge then our style of play will put them under a huge amount of pressure and they will crack easily, there is no fight in that team and the fans will get on their back. The easiest of the three games in my opinion, as long as they don't sack Pardew and get a new manager bounce. The only thing, stopping us picking up 7+ points is ourselves. We put in performances like yesterday or arsenal or Everton or first 60 minutes at Chelsea, we will win. We play like we did first half at Stoke, we could very easily lose.
foxfanazer Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Why does anyone think Burnley will score goals? We'll let them score first and then smash them. More exciting that way
Corky Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Think Palace could be this year's Leeds match. Going there on the back of a great win (Derby 4-1) with expectation it could happen every week now and we've made it, reckon it will be tough. If we nicked it 1-0 I'd be thrilled.
AKCJ Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Palace (A) Burnley (H) Newcastle (A) Swansea (A) West Brom (H)
