teblin Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 We are about due a win down there. But I think it will be 1-1. Which I would take.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 If we play how we've played so far this season, we will win. We are exposing a lot of weaknesses in teams... Teams are struggling to find ours, they think its De Laet... That's a good weakness to have because he's still class! Palace have a shakey back 4, they are not all that dangerous going forward... I can see the same line up as against Utd. Get Vardy running at Ward/Kelley at the back and De Laet/Konchesky doing the same it will cause them all sort of problems. If they play how they played against Everton away we can expose out wide! Palace 0-2 Leicester (Ulloa, Drinkwater)
towski Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 We haven't disappointed yet, why start now. 2-0 city vardy and ulloa With all the talk about poor defense no one talks about our good defense.
towski Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Also kicking myself for not betting on any of the games so far. The odds are only against us because they haven't seen us play much
Sir Shep Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Leicester being Leicester would suggest a palace win! Just glad people aren't on here saying we will murder palace as I'd imagine some are thinking that!
KFS Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Gonna be tight, but if we continue the last season mentality we'll be ok for a draw: maybe a 0-1.
justfoxes Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 I'll go for a 1-2win for city Vardy Morgan hopefully continue that hunger to win after that absolutely top drawer performance against Man Utd what an atmosphere that was still buzzing !!
kingcarr21 Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Need to forget about the Man U result now. Palace will be very hard to beat at Selhurst Park. They also had a great win at the weekend at Goodison so confidence under Warnock is high. Im gonna say 1-1. I would happily take a draw away from home.
midland_red Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Back to the grind taking everyting as it comes.... 1-1 for me. (For the record i called 2-2 For man u....make of that what you will...)
Leicester_Numan Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 I can see this being a scrappy game but I'm going for a win for the first time this season.....just 2-1
muzzycomeback Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Whoever scores first will win the game Whoever scores first will go 1-0 up
Happy Fox Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 2-1 City Vardy (22 minute) and Mahrez (80 minute) Gayle with their consolation (87 minute)
ToeKneeHandCock Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 I really do think we're a step above this lot, plus they've got a game tonight. 3-1 city.
PAPA LAZAROU Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 2-0 to us and we won't even break into a sweat.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 I would be very happy to come away with a draw. Survival is the key for this season!
Mark_w Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Think Palace will win this 2-1, partly because I'd be amazed if we can keep up the level of performance against United and partly because I've yet to predict we'll win a game and it's working a treat.
palace123 Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 Hi Guys Palace fan here in peace Really looking forward to the game on saturday, im predicting a 1-1 draw. Will be an interesting game, both teams high on confidence and both teams like to play on the counter attack, interesting to see a couple of posters say we are dodgy at the back, I cant agree with that, last season after a dodgy start we had something like the 3rd best defence in the premier league We have got a game tonight but we will play a full reserve team, players like Zaha who didnt get a game at the weekend may play though.

I'm looking forward to the game too. I think there are a few reasons we think we can get at you defensively. You conceded 3 goals to a very poor and out of form Newcastle team and seem to concede a fair few goals (not that we have been much better). Also I see the defensive record from last season as it should be: a thing of the past. With Pulis gone your team is not going to be as organised or as solid as it was defensively. The man is great at shoring up teams at the back, no matter what the players. However, despite our previous results I see this game as equally as tough as them. In fact it is a different test for us as we won't necessarily be the underdogs. We will be able to dominate the game a bit more and have more possession but it won't be as open and you won't be as flimsy as United were on Sunday! It is a really intriguing match and I can't wait for my first visit to Selhurst. Personally predicting 2-1 to us but reckon I'd still be happy with a draw. Ideally a win would be great to push on from our fantastic start. However, a point off you guys away is no mean feat and, as long as it's a good game, I wouldn't be too disappointed with a draw.

Palace won't have Man Utds defensive frailty (I can't believe I've said that but if you ship four goals in thirty minutes that's defensive frailty for me). Not sure if NP will play the same side as Sunday, depends on what formation Palacepick. We've Schlupp and Mahrez, who usually play on the wing, who were left out last weekend but featured in the previous matches. Should be a good match.
BirminghamFox Posted 24 September 2014 Posted 24 September 2014 1 nil - Ulloa with a header in the 64th minute
