Brainy Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 2 December 2014 7.45pm Leicester City v Liverpool (BT Sport) 7 December 20144pm Aston Villa v Leicester City (Sky Sports) http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2014-15/oct/live-uk-television-fixtures-for-december-2014-are-released/
Bert Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Neither make a great deal of difference to me because Liverpool I was a doubt for and Villa is one of the easiest games for us to get to. Expect a lot of Leicester in Birmingham on the Saturday night.
CosbehFox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Personally living in Brum, I would have perferred the all day on Saturday followed by footy at 3 rather than being hungover and getting myself up for the game. Still cracking time to playing a Brum based team; Christmas market and all.
Dan Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Villa away was always going to be moved. I bet Villa at home will be too. Glad it's 4pm rather than the awful early kick off. Might stay over on the Saturday actually. Birmingham's easier to get to from mine than the likes of Derby or Nottingham.
ScouseFox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 The Liverpool game hasn't been moved has it? Wasn't it always then? Gonna try get down villa if tickets are available and affordable.
Guest MattP Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Birmingham on the Saturday night has some serious potential now.
Leicesterpool Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 The Liverpool game hasn't been moved has it? Wasn't it always then? Gonna try get down villa if tickets are available and affordable. Put it this way Villa charged Norwich fans last season and the season before £40 a ticket for adults! so be warned Glad that's the only change really, least the West Ham away stays put.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Not too bad actually. Any home game midweek on tv Doesn't bother me, whilst Villa being a Sunday makes it easier for me to go and at least its not lunchtime kick off. decent
Fox92 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 The Liverpool game hasn't been moved has it? Wasn't it always then? Same day/time, yeah, just on tele now.
Soar Fox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Not bothered by any of them being moved. Though it will just extend our weekend in Birmingham. All day/night drinking on the saturday then boozing till 4pm on the Sunday.

Expect a lot of Leicester in Birmingham on the Saturday night. I will be but not sure if I'll get a ticket to the game the day after. My best mate is a Villa fan so may try and get tickets to it via him.

If your struggling to get a ticket in the away end and wanting to be close to the away fans as possible I'd suggest purchasing tickets in the north stand lower, it's some what normally cheaper in there. Plus if your fan of standing and there's to go. It's the Villa Park version of the East Stand.
StanSP Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Thanks mate. I'm not too concerned where I am to be honest but will see if my mate can get tickets anywhere!
Spudulike Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 So, I might be tempted to dip my toe into the world of BT Sport... but it's just too bleedin' complicated. To save me from tearing my hair out, does anyone know what the best TV/Broadband/phone package is I just want the most basic thing plus the footy.

To save me from tearing my hair out, does anyone know what the best TV/Broadband/phone package is I just want the most basic thing plus the footy. Just watch it for free on a stream. I'm quite surprised we'll be on BT sport.
ScouseFox Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 just seen villa is 4pm sunday which is much sounder than 12/1.30 too. not too bad.
Walshy5 Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Villa are charging spurs £41. Hopefully they wont charge us that much.
Matt Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 Liverpool's not changed has it? It was always scheduled for then wasn't it? Bit pissed off with Villa being moved but reckon i'll still go. I'm not going to many away games as it is this season for one reason or another and being fucked over by the schedule (Just unlucky really how it's panned out) so i'm not gonna let this ruin another away day for me!
Dan Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 The Villa move means we will miss the FA Cup third round draw...
Harry - LCFC Posted 6 October 2014 Posted 6 October 2014 The Villa move means we will miss be on our phones to see who we get in the FA Cup third round draw (I will be anyway)
Dan Posted 10 October 2014 Posted 10 October 2014 FA Cup draw now on the Monday night in a return to what they used to do about 15 years ago (apparently). We will still catch the draw. Sound.

Being an old so and so I remember when the F A Cup draw was on a Monday lunchtime, used to sit around a transistor radio listening, none of this crap about moving it to accommodate Sky etc.
