Charl91 Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 What is the one song that just makes you want to kill yourself? (And why is it Niki Minaj's 'Anaconda'?) The fact that enough people actually paid money to buy this, to get it into the charts, just makes me lose all hope for the future of our species. Anyone else have any truly horrific songs?
Harry - LCFC Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 Anything that Minaj comes out with. She's more of a soft porn star than a singer.
Charl91 Posted 30 October 2014 Author Posted 30 October 2014 How long ya got? Depends how much the songs are going to shorten my life expectancy. My blood pressure already isn't great.
Kitchandro Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 Black Eyed Peas - I got a feeling Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines Not because they're any more shit than most terrible pop music by talentless tossers, but purely because they're more popular. You can tell anyone who likes them is a total wankshaft.
Samilktray Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 I really have never understood this kind of thing, nobody forces you to listen to music you don't like. I never listen to stuff I don't like and therefore have no urges to kill myself.
Stadt Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 God I hate having to share a bus with a load of year 8s and their desire to play awful music so everybody can hear it
Dan Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 Saw the title and immediately thought of Nicki Minaj. She is the biggest fraud going. Absolutely talentless yet will swim in money for life.

I never listen to stuff I don't like and therefore have no urges to kill myself. You're right in that, if I stayed at my house and avoided all social contact with the outside world, then I wouldn't have to listen to it. If it was up to me, I'd love to oblivious that such rubbish exists. However, if I go to the gym, the shops, for a night out or get stuck on the bus with an angry horde of chavs, then I'll often have to endure such crap. You can't escape it.

Fox92 Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 Too many. What happened to music standing for something? Look back at the likes of The Smiths and The Jam, they were anti-establishment, they wrote music that stood for working class people. My housemates play a lot of rubbish. I miss being in halls when I could just go next door and chill with my mate who had the same taste.

There has been a lack of that in the last couple of decades, either kids simply aren't angry anymore or the artists that write that sort of music simply don't get a chance. The music industry has never been so bland, at least with the internet you can search and find the odd gem.
ozleicester Posted 1 November 2014 Posted 1 November 2014 Just saw this on Saturday morning music... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gEXtvzIrpY
MrsJohnMurphy Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Anything by Taylor Swift. Whats wrong with Taylor Swift??
LCFC Rennie Posted 2 November 2014 Posted 2 November 2014 Whats wrong with Taylor Swift?? What isn't?
foxfanazer Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 Anything that has come from X factor. Blurred lines is a great shout
Fox92 Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 Not a fan of pop music but I don't mind Taylor Swift. I'd not go out and buy her albums, but I don't think her records are rubbish. She comes across as decent as well, saw her on Graham Norton a few weeks back and she seemed quite funny.
Samilktray Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 Been on hold to O2 for 35 minutes and a Smiths songs just came on, I'm on the brink of losing the will to live, let alone faith.
Stadt Posted 3 November 2014 Posted 3 November 2014 Doesn't sound like she's into bass or looks like she's into salad
DennisNedry Posted 4 November 2014 Posted 4 November 2014 Taylor Swift is one of the best pop artists in the past few years (not saying much I know)
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 5 November 2014 Posted 5 November 2014 Gotta be that 'Friday' hunk of shit by that kid. Taylor Swift is abysmal, playing the character of a child and singing about 'boys' (men). That Booty or Arse song or whatever it was called by J Lo and some new fangled big arsed waste of space I had the misfortune of listening to made me want to do a Jimi Hendrix.
