cityfanlee23 Posted 2 December 2014 Author Posted 2 December 2014 I would leave out Ulloa. his contributions of late have been minimal. Wood for me. Hamer was brilliant against Stoke and deserves a run. Hamer De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp Mahrez James Cambiasso Drinkwater Wood Vardy City 1 Liverpool didn't  Happy Christmas everyone Good shout on ulloa to be fair, wood deserves his chances too, hamer should be a certainty for me.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 According to MOTD we played 4-3-3 against Man Utd Then you look at other sites and they suggest the diamond. It seems Nugent had a free role changing from Striker to CAM. So technically we did both That's a dimaond aint it lets be honest. MOTD have just got it wrong.
Fox Ulike Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I would stop short at dropping Kasper but only just… 451. De Laet steps down but more for the balance of the side than anything he's done majorly wrong. Kasper Simpson/Morgan/Was/Konch Mahrez/James/Drinkwater/Schlupp King Ulloa Subs: Vardy/Cambiasso/Nugent/Vardy/Albrighton/Hamer/Moore
MHC Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 GK Schmeichel DR Simpson DL Konchesky DC Wasilewski DC Morgan MC James MC Cambiasso AMR Mahrez AMC Knockaert AML Schlupp ST Ulloa SUBS: Hamer Moore Drinkwater Powell Albrighton Nugent Vardy
kingcarr21 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 That's a dimaond aint it lets be honest. MOTD have just got it wrong. Im not saying it was defo 4-3-3. Im just pointing out that people were confused on what our formation was due to MOTD saying different to other people
Babylon Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Pfffffft.... so difficult. There are lots of positions that could do with a tinker maybe, but I wouldn't want too many changes. Cambiasso won't be able to play so soon after Saturday surely, so that means either King or Drinkwater coming in. I'll go with Drinkwater. It just doesn't feel like Ulloa is working up top with Vardy as he's having to drift around more. Vardy is playing on the defenders shoulder meaning Ulla ends up dropping deep and out wide a lot. Nugent isn't having any impact. Wood isn't really up to much as the minute either. Perhaps give Powell a shot at playing behind the striker like Nugent did last year. If we are going to have the second striker dropping off and drifting out wide a ball player like him might be more useful. He's done nothing to deserve the start though so I'm even debating that. I'd be tempted to perhaps leave it at that. Mirror up with how we played last year a bit more. Really though I have no idea, feels like pissing in the wind with the options we have.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Im not saying it was defo 4-3-3. Im just pointing out that people were confused on what our formation was due to MOTD saying different to other people I don't think Sky got it right at first either so yes there was confusion.
Fox92 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I would leave out Ulloa. his contributions of late have been minimal. Wood for me. Hamer was brilliant against Stoke and deserves a run. Hamer De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp Mahrez James Cambiasso Drinkwater Wood Vardy  Happy Christmas everyone Ulloa's contribution has been ok, he still links play good. Did he not set up the first goal on Saturday? Ulloa is miles better than Wood, who isn't good enough.
RedSoxUK Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Kasper RDL Morgan - Moore - Konch Cambiasso - King - James Mahrez Sclupp Ulloa
LCFCCKEANO Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Dont drop schmeichel tonight, Pool wont be crossing too much i dont imagine. KasperSimpson Morgan Was(Lambert is slow so it wont be too much of a weakness) SchluppAlbrighton Cambi(If tired bring in Drinkwater) James Mahrez Vardy/Powell Ulloa
Monk Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Conceded 3 crap goals at the weekend so he has to make changes in defence. Actually so long as our full backs actually play in position and don't get caught in the opponent's half every 2 minutes then I'm happy. Kasper will be targeted as a weak point if he plays so I think we have to drop him really, same goes for RDL. Instructions to James: Don't shoot, pass. Hamer Simpson Morgan Moore Konchesky Mahrez James Cambiasso Schlupp Vardy Ulloa
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Ulloa's contribution has been ok, he still links play good. Did he not set up the first goal on Saturday? Ulloa is miles better than Wood, who isn't good enough. Depends if you class miss controlling the ball as an assist.
yorkie1999 Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I'm gonna go with a Leicester Tigers formation! Hamar wasilewski morgan Simpson konch Albrighton schlupp Cambiasso James Drinkwater Vardy
lgfualol Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 I'd be trying to seduce my own daughter if I was Nigel.
Stevosevic Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Ulloa should have had two assists against Sunderland if James and Mahrez could finish. Finishing is the problem here.
LCFC BEAST Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Simpson in for RDL. The rest stay the same from QPR.
Renart Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Great contribution thank-you. Personally think it's a MASSIVE game for Nigel. Show no improvement and concede a shed load and I'll be disappointed on their form, they look very weak at present. Does the game become BIGGER if you put it in capitals?
Finnegan Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Ladies and gentlemen, Leicester City will be playing four, four, ****ing two.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Kasper De Laet Was Morgan Konchesky Cambiasso James Drinkwater Mahrez Schlupp Ulloa Cambiasso for Vardy at HT.
WardyisPukka Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 With Pearsons job being questions by the media, as well as fans, It would be interesting to see how our fans would set up tonight, and to see how it differs from Big Nige come kick off... This is one of the biggest games in pearsons career, and one that needs a dramatically improved performance on the last 8 games. I'd go with a 4-1-2-1-2 tonight. HAMER RDL WES MOORE KONCHESKY CAMBIASSO MAHREZ ALBRIGHTON JAMES/KNOCKAERT VARDY ULLOA Most fans have that secret ambition that they could do a better job, How would YOU set up? Clearly isnt his biggest game. Sunderland,Burnley,WBA games were much bigger. Also knocky attacking centre mid. Have you Nigel's teams recently?
RedSoxUK Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Kasper De Laet Was Morgan Konchesky Cambiasso James Drinkwater Mahrez Schlupp Ulloa Cambiasso for Vardy at HT. This is more than likely the option Nigel will take.
Raj Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Dont care what formation you play, how you play and who plays just fooking get a result to be proud of for the inbreds of les tahhhhhhhhhhh
Danno Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Cant wait for Pearson to drop Mahrez for Nugent and for the 90 minutes of Nugent constantly failing to miscontrol a simple ball and being about 10 minutes behind everyone else as usual.
lgfualol Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Cant wait for Pearson to drop Mahrez for Nugent and for the 90 minutes of Nugent constantly failing to miscontrol a simple ball and being about 10 minutes behind everyone else as usual. Nuge should be out with a sore ankle I hope
HitchinFox Posted 2 December 2014 Posted 2 December 2014 Kasper RDL Konch Moore Wes Mahrez Cambiasso Drinkwater Schlupp Vardy Ulloa Reasons: Due to their relatively slow midfield of Gerrard, Allen and Henderson, the key for me is the need to make sure we deal with Sterling's pace and Coutinho's creativity. Wes can deal with Lambert in the air, Moore/RDL to keep Sterling in check with his pace and Cambiasso to shadow Coutinho when we don't have the ball. Drinkwater is good enough to put Gerrard off his game when they've got possession. Danny should learn to be more of a nuisance when we don't have the ball – a bit like Muzzy used to do. When we've got the ball we should have plenty to cause them trouble with Vardy's pace, Ulloa's threat in the box and Schlupp and Mahrez creating things. 2-1.
