Max Power Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Would be worth it for Dyche's reaction. Wouldn't be worth it when they finish above us anyway.
dayday Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Wouldn't it be funny if we signed Ings after Pearson slagged them off.they would be in meltdown
Callabinho Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Don't be silly, why would he join the Leicester "pound notes" city?
chapero82 Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 1 they would never sell to us 2, he would never come here
Clever Fox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 It could be a smart signing if it happens. A good young England player on one hand and Fk Up Burnleys chances of staying up.
BlackburnClaret Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Would be hilarious to see Dyche crying like a little bitch, but for the money we could probably do better. Firstly, if there's one club we wouldn't sell to its you. Secondly, who would you get better at price?
Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 They are in a better position that us to stay up ffs
TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 I thought we were better than Burnley in every way?!
VLC86 Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 I thought we were better than Burnley in every way?! I bet he regrets that more than the **** off and die comment.
RizLCFC Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Did he mean on the day? Because I agree with him if that's the case.
The Doctor Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 Firstly, if there's one club we wouldn't sell to its you. Secondly, who would you get better at price? No names immediately spring to mind, but given pelle went for £8m in the summer, £7.5m for Ings is ridiculous. Worth 4m at most.
BlackburnClaret Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 What did you pay for the far less prolific Ulloa?
Guest ttfn Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 What did you pay for the far less prolific Ulloa? In what way is Ulloa (6 goals) "far less prolific" than Ings (4 goals)? And to answer your question nicely, £8 million.
BlackburnClaret Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 At the time of you signing him, I meant. So, if at the start of the season you had the choice of Ulloa and Ings, who would you have gone for? Honestly?
Guest ttfn Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 At the time of you signing him, I meant. So, if at the start of the season you had the choice of Ulloa and Ings, who would you have gone for? Honestly? I think I thought Ings was a better player but we needed Ulloa more.
Soar Fox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 At the time of you signing him, I meant. So, if at the start of the season you had the choice of Ulloa and Ings, who would you have gone for? Honestly? Ings is the better goalscorer but we did need an Ulloa type of player. I thought Vardy was just as good if not better than Ings. Unfortunately one of them has stepped and carried on scoring goals, the other one runs round like a headless chicken and doesn't even look threatening anymore.
theessexfox Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 I think Ings is pretty good, I'd take him but there's not a chance it'd happen now.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 One of the very few Burnley players who's better than anything we have at the moment. £7.5m would be a steal.
Carl the Llama Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 At the time of you signing him, I meant. So, if at the start of the season you had the choice of Ulloa and Ings, who would you have gone for? Honestly? Well Ulloa ended the season on strong form, whereas Ings looked like he'd lost it since his injury so you tell me. In fact since his Injury he's scored 5 (1 every 343 minutes) to Ulloa's 11 (1 every 156) so I wouldn't be too quick to measure dicks buddy.
Fosse93 Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 At the time of you signing him, I meant. So, if at the start of the season you had the choice of Ulloa and Ings, who would you have gone for? Honestly? I'd have gone for Ings.
BlackburnClaret Posted 23 December 2014 Posted 23 December 2014 It's not just about the goals, he's intrumental in everything we do. He's head and shoulders above any striker you have at the moment, and will only get better with the imminent return of Vokes.
