With no more football to be played this calendar year, I thought I'd get an award thing going for what has been a spectacular year for Leicester City. The form of late not withstanding of course!

A first divisional title at this level in 34 years, record number of points, record number of wins in a row and our first Premier League campaign in a decade, it's not been a bad 12 months has it?

Get voting, kenheads.

Drinky

5-3

Wood v Burnley

EDIT : No Dyer v Bolton option Bilo?

Mahrez - A lot of contenders but his introduction took us to a new level last season and he's been one main bright spark this one too for me. A terrific player we'll do well to hang onto.

Leicester 5-3 Man Utd - This should get 100% of votes. That wasn't the game of the year, that was the game of a lifetime.

Wood v Burnley - Similar to Howard v Leeds - that was the goal you just knew we were winning the league, and what a superb hit too.

Drinkwater

Game is a really tough choice, Man United for the comeback and excitement but Derby was some of the best football I've seen from a Leicester team. The 5-3, just.

De Laet v Derby, lovely one-two and a delightful finish with the left foot from a right back.

wood v burnley, united 5-3 and couldn't do a player. drinky for last season but he's been barely anything but shit since we got promoted.

remember wood's goal, ****ing hell. ridiculous.

i'd probably have voted for cambiasso vs united if it was an option but never mind.

Jamie Vardy - For his sheer transformation & his 100% work rate every game.

Leicester 5-3 Man Utd - No contest really

Mahrez v Blackpool - Think fans have underrated this goal a bit, lovely skill, lovely cut inside & great finish

Would probably have gone for Cambiasso vs Man Utd for goal if it had been there but went for DD vs Watford. Brilliant strike and in the last few seconds too to maintain our unbeaten run, fantastic goal.

Mahrez player of the year, gave us that extra something we needed at the end of last season and has been decent this season as well. His skill is a joy to behold at times.

Game of the season was no contest.

that's a good shout too, although tbf, it wasn't as good a goal or as mental a celebration as wood's, although it actually confirmed the title instead of basically confirming it.

Some tough choices here.

Overall, I think only a few players have successfully made the step up to the Premier League and the FT POTY award can thus only go to Riyad Mahrez.

As far as game of the season is concerned, I'm going against the current and nominate the Burnley away game. It demonstrated that we are indeed promotion material against immediate opposition in the table. The match also featured two really sweet strikes.

Goal of the Season for me was a toss between Wood's strike at Turf Moor or Drinkwater's genius last-minute touch at home against Watford. I opted for the latter - it was such a sweet strike at such a great moment and encapsuled our belief and willpower regardless of the opposition in the 2013/2014 season.
