Mahrez easily. His form in the premiership in such a struggling side has been nothing short of brilliant. What a player he is

5-3 Man Utd obviously

Vardy versus Man Utd for the cool finish and the sheer disbelief that we were going to beat them. Best atmosphere for ages at the KP too

Posted

Vardy, 5-3, wood v Burnley.

Very nearly put Derby. The second half against man utd was fantastic, but the first half wasn't great, whereas against Derby we dominated from start to finish.

Posted

wood v burnley, united 5-3 and couldn't do a player. drinky for last season but he's been barely anything but shit since we got promoted.

remember wood's goal, ****ing hell. ridiculous.

i'd probably have voted for cambiasso vs united if it was an option but never mind.

Likewise on the Cambiasso goal, it's probably the most excited I've ever been at a football match.

Mahrez- The only player who has made the step up fully. Ulloa did well but he was not part of the team in Championship. Vardy for 3rd for his work rate and determination.

5-3 over Man Utd

DD's effort vs Watford- Wood's goal was more crucial but DD's effort needed more technique.

Are we doing FT awards?

Mahrez - A lot of contenders but his introduction took us to a new level last season and he's been one main bright spark this one too for me. A terrific player we'll do well to hang onto.

Leicester 5-3 Man Utd - This should get 100% of votes. That wasn't the game of the year, that was the game of a lifetime.

Wood v Burnley - Similar to Howard v Leeds - that was the goal you just knew we were winning the league, and what a superb hit too.

Agreed

This is illogical lol. He was part of a team that didn't get promoted yet has made the step up and had a cracking start to the season and has remained our top scorer. He also had no Premier League experience lol. Surely he's made the 'step up fully' too??

Thinks he's saying he doesn't want to give "leicester City player of 2014" to someone who only made his debut 8 months into the year.

Correct though that does not count as a point for the next quiz lol

I felt physically ill after screaming post Esteban and Vardy's goals against Yanited, proper faint - couldn't believe it.

I had hardly any energy left after Cambiasso's. I don't want to write off how good the Burnley/Derby games were but no-one can genuinely believe that Man Utd wasn't the best surely? I honestly cannot see it being topped.

I'm assuming the seven votes are from bitter people who couldn't get a ticket for the United game, because there's no other explanation.

Just watched the United game again- Does anyone shed a tear when Vardy slots it home? I do! - God I'm almost a Scouser because of revelling in past glories. At least they were this year though (just)

Without doubt the best game I've ever seen in my life. There's the period of time after Cambiasso's equaliser and Vardy's goal where we destroyed Man United passing it around them. I've counted one period where we made 30 odd passes in triangles with them playing piggy in the middle. It wasn't as if we were playing it around at the back either it was all possession in their half, whilst the game was still there for United to win. Then there's the three nutmegs in a row where we're taking the complete and utter p*ss lol lol lol

I tell you now though, there is simply noway whatsoever that we're as bad as the table and past results make out. No way at all. Re-watch the Man U game and you'll see we just have absolutely zero confidence at the minute. Hopefully that'll change tomorrow and if it has we'll give those scumbags a right run for their money.

Riyad Mahrez: - One of our best players last season and kept the majority of his form going in the Premiership, whilst going from strength to strength at international level with Algeria.

5-3 vs United: - what a game.

Chris Wood vs Burnley: - what a goal. Possibly my favourite ever from a Leicester player.
