davieG Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 City: Hamer, De Laet, Drinkwater, Morgan ©, Hammond, James, Vardy, Schlupp, Simpson, Mahrez, Wasilewski. Subs: Smith, Lawrence, Moore, Cambiasso, Ulloa, Knockaert, Nugent.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Bit different to what i'd anticipated. Would rather rest nugent / Ulloa for the Newcastle game rather than this. Not particularly optimistic here
Tuna Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Top scorer and best midfielder on the bench. Pearson still pissed from last night.
lcfcfoz Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 lpool playing with 3 defenders, good chance! get into them!
blueharmie Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Top scorer and best midfielder on the bench. Pearson still pissed from last night. This.
Mark Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Pearson seems to always generate a random team/formation on New Years day. Think he's outdone himself with De laet and hammond in midfield though.
Crinklyfox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Vardy on his own. Unless Cambiasso is tired or injured his omission looks strange.
Rincewind Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Was going to put this in the pre-match thread but its closed. Some of the teams closest to City have tough games away.QPR Burnley WBA
Dr The Singh Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Last seasons top scorer on bench!! :xmasangry:
davieG Posted 1 January 2015 Author Posted 1 January 2015 Ulloa came off in the last game totally knackered
Benguin Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Cambiasso is a match starter and take off mid second half IMO not the other way round
jammie82uk Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 What's the formation? I would guess at 4-5-1 with de laet right wing
FireFox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 NP: "Hull win was important but we've got to back it up today. Most won't give us a chance, but we have to give ourselves a chance." . So why is Hammond starting? Why are Cambiasso and Ulloa not starting? (At least De Laet is starting)
davieG Posted 1 January 2015 Author Posted 1 January 2015 Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Toure, Sakho, Moreno, Gerrard, Lucas, Henderson, Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling. Subs: Ward, Lovren, Lambert, Manquillo, Borini, Markovic, Ojo.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I'll have what nige is having! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Nick Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 ...........................Hamer Simpson.......Was.......Wes........De Laet .......................Hammond...................... Mahrez.......James.....Drinks.......Schlupp ..........................Vardy.........................
Rincewind Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I'msure Pearson has selected the teambased on what he knows about Liverpool. It worked with Man Utd.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Schlupp LB Mahrez in front of him with RDL ahead of Simpson i would guess?
Benguin Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Like the players, can't see who's going to score goals
bluesbrothers Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Glad Hammond is back in the fold. Looked excellent this year and played a key part in our great start. Pack the midfield, get Vardy in from a central position (finally!) Strangely optimistic here - I can't see the Scousers getting nearly as much freedom in midfield today, and our extra men there may help on the counter.C'mon you blues.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I'm glad Hammond is starting, he was surprisingly solid in our impressive start to the season.
