Babylon Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 That's not what he said, stop putting words in his mouth. De Laet!! :xmaslaugh: That's what he said, basically that Burnley are doing it so why can't we, intimating that we don't need to be resting people. That's exactly what his point was, and it's a stupid point. Does he know the minutes the Burnley players have played, miles they have covered, ages, general fitness levels. Etc. To say Burnley aren't doing something and then rubbish the opposite on that basis is ridiculous.
iancognito Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Mahrez.........should have been 1-0 possibly 2 by now
MC Prussian Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Mahrez - how wasteful can you be? Great chance and great pass into the middle by Schlupp, actually.
m4DD0gg Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Awesome start, Mahrez could have had 2 and schlupp is doing well.
Blanesta Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 We're finding our passes, and winning the ball back well, we just need to take these chances.
Ozwin Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Schlupp is really testing some teams lately. So powerful.
Babylon Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Should be ahead here. Great pick on the formation here by Pearson. Their 3 at the back is leaving space in the channels for us to run into.
Matt Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 Newcastle 1 - 0 Burnley. Come on City, lets make the most of it!!!
Vacamion Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 The fact we could be 2 up but aren't doesn't bode well. Still, City can be very proud of their work so far. COYB.
MC Prussian Posted 1 January 2015 Posted 1 January 2015 I like the look of Schlupp today - barely puts a foot wrong. Apart from this missed chance just now. All in all, we seem to play a lot better, with more focus and intent. Lovely composure so far.
