That's some serious cheating by Mooney there.

Incredible match. Zimbabwe will feel cheated.

That incident was the difference between winning and losing, even though they probably still should have knocked off 7 from the last over.

Ireland's bowling and fielding was mostly doggo but it's very difficult not to defend 332.

Anyone see the Ireland fielder attempt a run out by kicking the ball towards the stumps lol ? Naturally missing the stumps and it going for 2 overthrows.

Not sure really, you can't truly tell given the shadow of the player.

Think the letters in PEPSI on the rope give it away. The middle letters look a bit stretched as he is leaning on the bottom of the rope.

The letter moves for me, amazed he got away with it. The foot couldn't not be on it imo.

Lucky Ireland, but good for them giving this tournament a better go than we are.

The squad selection, the captaincy, the team selection, the preparation everything has been wrong for us. I'm reluctant to judge Moores and particularly Morgan on this showing we have gone into it not having a clue what our best team is our bowlers are under performing and Morgan is having to come up with plans for players he's never captained before.

The mistake has been filling the team with test players and having Cook as a captain, to have any hope of being competitive in ODIs we need specialists people who play one day and 20/20 all the time, county circuit, IPL, Big Bash and have limited overs captain that isn't in the Test Squad and can focus on picking the best limited overs players rather than the best 'cricketers' Anderson is our best bowler but his age and effectiveness in one dayers means we have to drop him, along with Ballance, Bopara, Bell possibly Broad too.

We have great talents like Hales, Lumb, Stokes, Buttler, Root we need to build a team around them. Not sure about Ali and we need to find a bowler or 2.

Looks like I got the team I wanted Ballance and Finn out for Jordan and Hayles.

Come on England!! I have to go to work tomorrow, don't let me down!

At least Broad gets another gig  he is honestly ****ing useless. Can see this being a close game with Bangladesh coming out on top, England's bowling attack is abysmal.

Good start for England, not getting carried away though as this is Bangladesh after all! Happy with the team selection but would have had Hales opening and Bell at 3 & I'd have been inclined to put Buttler higher up

Oh and not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but that countdown with the players at the start of a game is seriously cringe worthy

England's attack already looking toothless. Feel for Jordan being thrust in on back of minimal cricket - he's getting dogs abuse on Twitter. As if he was ever likely to set the world alight here.

England could be in a spot of bother in the Bangers can post 300. Which isn't beyond realms of possibility. I give up predicting this tournament though. (Current Score 62-2 off 14 ov incase I get any abuse when they are all out for 160)

Looks very toothless doesn't it apart from Anderson.

300 looks par though on the pitch.

We just have a severe lack of quality on the bowling department.

Does anyone who follows county cricket closely know if there is any quality currently missing out on the squad? Or any youngsters with bags of potential coming through?

The guys on Sky made a point about our lack of variety in bowling - all right arm seamers and one right arm spinner. It's the lefties and the teams with more bowling variation who are doing well here.

Ben Stokes, ridiculous decision to not have him in the squad when he proved he loves playing in Aussie conditions.

Nice to see some quality death bowling from Jordan, one I hope is never picked for the test side again but is allowed to be a limited overs specialist.

Quality death bowling with the odd massive wide thrown in in typical Jordan fashion :D

Anyway, you'd say 275 is below par. Especially since the wicket is on the edge of the square so you have a proper shirt boundary on the leg side.

Edit: I say leg side. It depends who's batting and from which end. That's what happens when you type while listening to the radio.

Gettable total, great batting conditions, great batting pitch, solid enough start, against a nation that is well known for consistently having doggo bowling attacks.

What could possibly go wrong?

Ahh a calamitous comedy run out, wasn't expecting that tbf!
