Len Finsbury Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 any chance of him ever showing this certain ability? Playing for a few minutes here and their isn't going to give him the chance to. It's confidence he's lacking, not ability.
Len Finsbury Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 i cant see him scoring at all. ever. Not from the bench, me neither.
lgfualol Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 any chance of him ever showing this certain ability? Scored a goodn against Bury before being subbed for not doing anything else
inckley fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Very harsh to make a judgement based on what we've seen so far this season, and especially today. Our midfield, Kante apart, were a yard off the pace and our set piece delivery was disappointing. There was very little for Vardy, Okazaki, Ulloa, Kramaric to feed off and, even though I thought they were also poor (Ulloa might be an exception here, he looked like he might have needed bringing on earlier), it's hard to imagine any centre forward who would have thrived off Albrighton, Mahrez or King. King, as most of you have long since pointed out, was an especially testing weight for the others to carry today.
ScouseFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Playing for a few minutes here and their isn't going to give him the chance to. It's confidence he's lacking, not ability. he has missed a lot of routine chances since he joined a year ago. when he was first choice he missed easy chances. when he was being rotated he started and missed chances or came of the bench and missed chances. now his game time is limited he's still managed to miss a couple of stupidly easy chances this season, too. like i said, and have said for about 6 months, if he was called david nugent and he missed one on ones and failed to score chances from inside the six yard box we'd have booed him all the way back to the furthest corner of europe. yet for some reason we want him to start to try and maintain our title bid, based on...?
daddylonglegs Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 him and Ulloa up front would be hilarious
TJB-fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Imagine judging him on today's cameo, ridiculous

MooseBreath Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 There is no other explanation for people's blind faith in his hitherto invisible ability other than pure craft ale drinking, beard oiling, crusty cheese stinking euro-hipsteritus.
ScouseFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 ... based on 'who else is there?' for one! how about the two "second" strikers (ulloa and okazaki) who have played their part is giving us, so far, our most successful season in our 131 year history.
Grewks Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Imagine judging him on today's cameo, ridiculous Imagine claiming he should start purely off the basis that he isn't starting. That is even more ridiculous. In a successful side, you will get limited chances to impress. If you cannot take them, you wont displace anyone in the team.
Koke Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 I dont understand either why he doesnt get a run in the team. Ulloa is decent but he misses chances too (United, Swansea & Everton come to mind). Ulloa has got 1 goal this season. Okazaki got 3. Hardly pulling up any trees, and they've been given chances after chances. Im not saying Kramaric is the answer to our 2nd striker question, but if he doesn't get a run of 4-5 games to see if he is up to it, then we will never know. Throwing him in for ten minutes when we are losing 4-2 to Arsenal and 1-0 to Liverpool isnt ideal. I might be wrong and he might be totally shit, but we wont know that from the bench, will we?
NewquayFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 10 minute cameo in a side that is top of the league, you would give it your best shot, unfortunately he didn't and he looked poor. We need another striker that can score goals I reckon....,, Up the City......
NewEnglandFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 What? Kramaric wasn't able to score a goal in his 10' cameo? He must really suck to not be able to come on and score in 10'. FFS
LanguedocFox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Yup, thanks for the up date, I was going to re-edit, just as I posted, Sky panel confirmed, that Vardy was carrying a Virus. Not looking for excuses, but if it hit a couple more players. BBC also said, we are use to city, not having a lot of possesion, but today the spark through the team when they do their snap counters were missing.Lets see against Man.City, from my view lets give Krammy his chance, we need someone new for that single position we havent yet solved, plus he wont be tired, his running around Would be offering something different to the other 2 and I believe is basic ball control is a notch up. We've lost only our 2nd game, but behind doors Claudio could be brutal and use this has his 2nd springboard, for the New Year. To be honest, if Vardy really does have a virus, he should not have played today, and should be somewhere away from the rest of the team, being cared for. Physical exertion with a virus can cause damage. A virus is also infectious, so the whole team could get it. Today was a day when Kramaric should have started: FFS, we have enough depth in the squad not to risk our leading scorer

We need another striker that can score goals I reckon....,, Up the City...... Very unfair to judge from the radio, but the only two mentions he seemed to get was that he got pushed off the ball 'too easily' by someone and then 'Krameric with the ball, oh he's fell over'. He did however it seems run back and cover and stop an almost certain goal. Can't really do much in 10 minutes in fairness.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 In my opinion, if you're a substitute coming onto a pitch where you're significantly better than those you're replacing, it's easy to show your quality even if it is only for 10 minutes or so. We saw it when Kante first started out, almost immediately we all sat up and realised we were watching someone a lot better than we'd previously seen. Same goes for when Vards and Mahrez came on against Hull in the league cup. They both came on and made an impact. A lot of people reckon Krammy has 'a lot more to offer than Okazaki'. If he has, the glimpses that we get of him he would make more of an impact than he has. I was so excited when we signed him and I'd still love him to do well but as Scouse said I think his name and his scoring record in a pretty pony league has blinkered a lot of people.

Ulloa is decent but he misses chances too (United, Swansea & Everton come to mind). Ulloa has got 1 goal this season. Okazaki got 3. Hardly pulling up any trees, and they've been given chances after chances. Except both have only been directly involved in 3 goals and Leo has played just over half the time that Shinji has. Even if you count Shinji's drawn pen as an assist, Leo's attacking numbers are much better on adjusted by time. Leo has missed 2 big chances but he as actually able to create them so I wouldn't consider it a negative considering Shinji has never be able to be a creator in the first place.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Okazaki looks like a competition winner. I fail to believe that given a run in the side Kramaric couldn't offer more but I think we need someone better than both of them in January which says it all about where we've progressed to.

"We" why do "we" need to know? The manager is paid well to make those decisions, he gets to see them all week long, in reserve games etc. He doesn't need to put him in to allow us to make our minds up if he has already made his, based on actually watching him day after day.

FFS Nobody is judging him just on today!!! If anything he got a tick by his name for the commitment to get back when Kasper was up field. He needs to do that if he's going to get game time as it's what the manager wants. As I said earlier, he could have given that up.
Frank to be Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Do we not have any sort of reserve team anymore?
Koke Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 "We" why do "we" need to know? Okazaki looks like a competition winner, and if Kramaric cant get in ahead of him then he must be really shit. People accuse Kram of falling over and losing the ball. Thats exactly what Okazaki does. He's like bambi on ice, and he still got numerous starts under his belt. Leo is decent on his day. If Kramaric was starting games and performing like Okazaki does, there would a be a lot of people wanting him to get dropped. Kramaric might be totally shit for all I know, but I'd like him to get a run of games. Thats all Im saying.
