Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Really want him to succeed but cant keep trying to give him time
PaulW Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 For info, he was £7m Which is about 10 million. Euros.
Guest Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 If Vardy is out against Man City, I hope Okazaki gets the vardy role and Kram gets the oka role.
pazzerfox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Depends I wouldn't see the point of buying a new striker if the current ones haven't all be given a chance to show what they can do. If Kram gets his chance and fails to impress or he goes out on loan then yes. Otherwise I wouldn't because 4 strikers is enough or you will get unhappy players demanding to leave which wont be good for squad harmony. As it stands I think all the strikers do have a role to play, Kram just hasn't been able to show what he can do. Maybe if the rumour of Vardy being out for December is true then Kram could play Vardys role? I would like to see Kram in more of a Vardy role. Time will tell i guess.
Thracian Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Kram the man will show his class in these next few games I'm sure I hope he does but still have great doubts.
Brooksy Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Really want him to do well for some reason, maybe he's the one
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I think the talent and skills are certainly there, and I'm probably repeating what others have said but I really want him to do well for us. We've seen glimpses of what he can do last season with a couple of decent goals (Arsenal away, Villa away, QPR home etc) and a number of decent skills. I heard he also sprinted back to help the team against Liverpool when they were on the attack, which is pleasing as well.
Buzzell Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 If he's as good on the pitch as he is at pullin the bitcheeez then we've got a serious playa on our hands. NO WOT AM SAYYIINN LADDSSSS!
shade Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Just look at his defensive stats, it's fairly blooming obvious why he's getting picked for certain games. Ranieri knowingly sacrifices a more attacking player for someone who does more tackling and interceptions etc. people calling for Kramaric instead just don't seem to get it's a tactical decision. The flip flopping between Ulloa and Okazaki show that. Kramaric looks more technically gifted, he's probably a more attacking threat. But that's not what is being asked of Okazaki. If Kramaric can match his defensive game he'll get picked, that's why his contribution yesterday was important for him to get more game time, he really put that effort in. where are these stats? I don't want to go in too hard on the guy but I see few tackles, interceptions or won headers and lots of falling, getting tackled and fumbling.
st albans fox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 he was asked to play the lone striker role when he had his run of starts and we were hardly 'on the front foot' to support him. given the way we play now, I'd like to see him get a few starts if JV has to miss some games.
lgfualol Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 If he's as good on the pitch as he is at pullin the bitcheeez then we've got a serious playa on our hands. NO WOT AM SAYYIINN LADDSSSS! I swear I once saw that his gf is a brunette. Bet this pic was awkward.
Danizen Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I swear I once saw that his gf is a brunette. Bet this pic was awkward. He must be single. The Mirror were desperate to turn that trip into a huge story. You can bet the first thing they did was check whether Kramaric or Drinky had partners. They must have been well pissed off not to find anything.
Jordan Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Kramaric might be a good target man at night, but if Vardy needs a rest and we stay 4-4-2, I'd definitely want Ulloa to be the one to play with defenders on his back and do all the heavy lifting for Kramaric.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 To be fair nobody really performed in an attacking sense at all against Liverpool and he didn't have a lot to feed on when he came on but that sprint back to stop the goal, think people are remembering it wrongly. after Wes made the initial block he got to the follow up and blocked it to keep out a certain goal. Obviously he was fresh and thought balls to it I'll do something about this. Shows a great attitude imo, in reality a centre forward should be staying up the pitch but with the danger of the situation obvious he absolutely bust a lung to get in a vital interception. Had it been any of our other players who are regulars we'd be singing their praises so give the guy the credit he is due in this instance. He's not had a run of games, I just think writing him off currently, where it looks like our depth of squad will be needed (If Vardy does, indeed, not play a part against Man City as is being reported), then this is what he's here for. He could grab this chance with both hands if he gets a start, for sure his attitude must be spot on currently, given what he did against Liverpool, so if he can deliver the quality along with his commitment a lot of us think is lurking in there somewhere, he could yet be an asset.
EnglishOxide Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 His attitude is spot on anyway. People just don't like him when he said in an interview he felt he deserves a chance or he will have to move. Like any other player would. He's always supportive on social media, and looks happy in pics of training as well as being one of the lads on the Xmas do. His character or work ethic shouldn't be in question IMO. People just don't like flair players in this country if it don't come off. If he had blasted a couple of efforts a shade over the bar instead of chipping them into a keepers hands he wouldn't get half the stick he does.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 The chips he's attempted are both glorious and a disaster. To have the confidence to try it is brilliant, but thus far his technique and reading of the situation in that regard is a worry in regards to his overall decision making as a striker. Doesn't prove anything either way though, need to see a lot more of him to make a definitive assessment.
Izzy Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Really want him to do well for some reason, maybe he's the one This is the one, oh this is the one, this is the one, this is the one we've waited for...
TJB-fox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Before the Liverpool game I really wasn't fussed wether he stayed or went tbh. But, even though it was a small appearance in which he couldn't really demonstrate his technical ability, it looked like he cared- for the first time. (Not that I'm saying you have to charge round flying into tackles, winning headers and being aggressive to care) but he really put himself about. FairPlay for running back in the last second too to deny Liverpool, give him his chance now I think he's waited long enough
Nod.E Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 In the event of Vardy being unfit for tomorrow, I would absolutely love it if Kramaric slotted in and bagged a trick. The combination of pundits not being able to use the 'lack of depth' line and the look of 'who the ****' on the City faces would be golden.
Livid Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 £8 million and he's played as a lone striker in a team which wasn't exactly firing, a few subs appearances or started two cup games with the second string. He's not exactly had much of a chance to shine. I really do think he will come good, i'm not so sure he will be with us when it happens though.
waylander Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 If if vardys not fit give him first half and tell him make me keep you on in the second half. Will then go out and get sent off . Give the boy a chance
dannythefox Posted 28 December 2015 Posted 28 December 2015 Let's play kramaric for 5 games and when people see us struggling to score they can't moan because he's getting his chance. I'd play dodoo over him, Kram won't make it here he's not the striker we need he get pushed off the ball far to easy he's small build, not strong or fast and personally you need 2 out the 3 to bed and sort of striker.
