The Nugent/Cambiasso chance was one of the most frustrating things I've seen this season. Palace put it on a plate for us and we still managed to fuck it up. For the love of God, just shoot!

Championship team in the Premier League.

Its all over...10 years and given up without any sort of quality.

Crap and Im well pissed off...Nigel is abit deluded with some of his decisions

Anyone who says ulloa can hold the ball up effectively needs to watch this match on repeat until they realise the error of their ways. Same applies to anyone who says he has a good first touch.

We're not unlucky missing chances.

We have no strikers with the quality to anticipate where the ball is going to end up in the six yard box.

Also if continue not playing three centre mids with the quality of players we have, then we deserve to go down.

Take a gamble against arsenal by packing the defence and leaving kramaric upfront by himself

Anyone who says we couldn't of got better for the money we paid for him needs their head checking.

Honestly so frustrating, once again we were decent in the first half and created chances, but our finishing is absolutely appalling. Knew at half time that it would cost us and it did, just like the Stoke game.

On the upside Mahrez was superb, and aside from his miss I thought Cambiasso played pretty well, sprayed some lovely passes around the pitch.

Another disappointing performance from Wes though and Simpson played horribly, time to give De Laet another chance imo.

Just irritates me that teams are only 10-15% better than us and that has to go down to recruitment in the summer.

I think this shows the arrogance of Pearson..... as reported on Sky Sport after the match;

McArthur’s clash with Pearson was quickly diffused by referee Lee Mason, with Pearson showing signs the pressure is getting to him, and after another home defeat, the Foxes are starting to creep closer to relegation.

Pearson catergorically stated he was under no pressure before Christmas... but this tells a different story... should have been sacked before new year..

He is not a Premiership Manager never has been, never will be... just not there I'm afraid.

Thought we played ok in parts but just don't seem to retain the ball well enough in the middle of the park.  For me I thought we looked brighter when we switched to 3 at the back , when vardy came on.  Matty james couldn't impose himself enough so i'd like Hammond to return to the team big time, would like to see Moore return.

Ulloa

     Kram

Jeff  Mahrez Vardy

        Cambiasso

       Hammond

Wes   Hutch  Liam Moore

          Mark

Think Nigel will learn alot from this defeat and the back line and midfield will get changed about.  Results for teams around us went our way to soften the blow of today BS result.

Still in it

It wasnt even ...'Nice while it lasted' .

I cant understand how all season the players, on the ball skills, passing and holding, were really really poor.

No 3, no 5 game group/run of games where we could say we had shown PL standard.

No use choosing player of the season...there hasnt been one sticking his head over the parapit.

Wasilewski, Hamer, only consistent players. Not 1 player who hasnt been poor or below avg, over a 5 game run.

Mahrez only looked good, rarely effective.

Dont understand little use of Knocky and Albrighton.

Be honest a couple of avg performances, thats it.... even againts Utd we only had had 20 incredible minutes.

We ARE the worst team in the PL and not just on position....

After 24 games I dont see one player, who could hold their own in a top 17 PL club.

I will support them just has fanatically and crazily in the last 14 games, the whole hearted believe in survival has long gone.

My target just to just try and enjoy games against the big boys.

Another poor second half display, where our shit decision making & tactics cost us.

First half we were all over them, quite frankly we could of scored at least three, but as soon as Nugent hit the bar it felt like it wasn't going to be our day. Then come the second half it was back to the shit we have had to endure for most of the season, one chance in particular when Cambiasso had the goal gaping at his mercy, he was about six yards out & he decides to pass it, was one of the worst pieces of decision making I've ever seen.

We then decided to go for the lump the ball up tactics, which yet again saw us get nowhere. How are we meant to play to Kramaric's strengths when we just lump the ball up at every given opportunity, they had a 6ft5 Brede Hangeland in defence who was always going to win most headers, but still we kept lumping the ball up.

As for some of the performances, Wasilewski yet again was our best defender, the amount of times he had to cover for Wes in the second half must of been pushing double figures. Simpson is shit, he just backs off & backs off surprised he doesn't fall over his feet. Of the players I thought had a good game, then Wasilewski & Mahrez have to be top of the list, Cambiasso & Nugent did well at times but were also quite inconsistent.

Nothing else to say, very disappointed after that.

Haha Pearson basically just said in the interview our players still haven't adapted to the premiership demands.

If they still haven't adapted by February then we're going down

Been saying this since before we signed him, his good start has somewhat masked his lack of general ability in the eyes of some however.

If he has said that, that's embarrassing

OK to summarise:

1) Defence so shaky and vulnerable to pace. Fullbacks both an absolute disaster going forwards and backs. Simpson must be dropped now, can't do the basics. Hate how he panicks and always passes to GK.

2) Cambiasso should be played in a CAM role, in front of James and Drinky

3) James a positive as per usual. We needed to find the right partner for him in the transfer window to stay up

4) We have good wingers

5) Nugent has great positioning and ball sense but lacks the technique in PL. I still like him though

6) Schwarzer good. How nice to have a keeper who distributes and throws it out from the back

7) For the first team this season, I've realised we are going down. We didn't compensate for our weaknesses in the Jan window

Same here, seemed he was all Pearson was interested in though after about 2 months negotiating and paying twice too much. Which says something as he doesn't suit us at all.

Tbf it could have gone either way, we had enough chances, hit the bar, good saves and goal line clearances. I never really felt we'd get anything out of the game though. Bad day.

Two years from now Pearson who will probably be managing some league two side will say in his autobiography - 'I was out of my depth at Leicester, didn't know what I was doing? I tried to be too technical, mixed the players around, different formations and lineups... I guess I was wrong'....
