Sunbury Fox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 We were the better team in open play. They did not deserve that win at all.
Fox92 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Anyone care? Yes, because it's our football club. We're not down and I cannot see how people can say this when we are three points off of safety with the likes of Hull, QPR, WBA and Burnley still to play. It's not impossible.
MC Prussian Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I expected more from this, so I'm largely left disappointed. Huffing and puffing like in the good old days before Pearson arrived. Hardly anyone up to the standard. Mahrez and Cambiasso alone can't make it happen in midfield. We looked lost from the start, had a great period with a plethora of chances starting somewhere around the 25-minute mark and blew it. It was a gut-wrenching performance and it hurts to say this and I'm usually more positive in my realistic analysis: This was terrible advert for football and the players let themselves down more than anything. Couldn't create a lot apart from the odd spark of genius, but that's about it. When you can't score, you get punished. Sad to see us throw three points away against a team that we could've and should've beaten. I dread to think of the wastefulness in front of goal today. Shambolic. Still, it's not over until the fat lady sings. The result has just made my weekend a bit more miserable, that's all.
johnny the fox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 That result was down to know how..their manager and players had it.. we didn't ..it was gutless ..
The Doctor Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Sick of having 20+ shots and not converting a single one then losing from a ridiculous bit of play from Wes Morgan. Morgan needs to be dropped. Ah well, at least Southampton have won. Simpson this week giving away the corner by being a lazy prat, but the story is exactly the same. Dominate, have enough chances to be miles ahead, throw it away. Thank **** I'm missing the next 4 matches due to other commitments.
Brooksy Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Arsenal away next, is there any point turning up?
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 We were the better team in open play. They did not deserve that win at all. While that's true it hardly matters does it. We had to win that really.
Foxhateram Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 We have lost all confidence in ourselves and are resulting in Sunday league football. *Breaths* *Sighs* I really think it might be time for a change of manager to reinstate some kind of confidence in the side. *It Burns* We need to do something!?
palace123 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You lot were taking the piss out of our signings but Zaha and Sanago ran you ragged 2nd half. Hope Person gets banned for that assault, completely unnecessary.
MooseBreath Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Plenty of us called it before the game. Yet another unforgivable team selection from Pearson. He'll be lucky to escape from trying to strangle McAuther without a police caution, which goes to show how out of control he feels in this situation. Simpson could have prevented the corner but couldn't be bothered to sprint. Schwarzer had one save to make and didn't make it. Wes looked like a disaster waiting to happen. Schlupp was an embarrassment. The substitutions were ineffective and too late. We're down and only have Pearson to blame.
Callabinho Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 We can't beat the sides around us, therefore we won't stay up. Absolute disgrace.
KFS Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You lot were taking the piss out of our signings but Zaha and Sanago ran you ragged 2nd half. Hope Person gets banned for that assault, completely unnecessary. Fvck off you cvnt.
stingray Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 utterly clueless after they scored. lump it into the box, Hangerland cleans up ever time. Pearson OUT
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Late goals for both Southampton & Man City did us huge favours
woznotwos Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Luckily for us villa qpr and burnley are also shit so chins up lads
maynefox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You lot were taking the piss out of our signings but Zaha and Sanago ran you ragged 2nd half. Hope Person gets banned for that assault, completely unnecessary.
lgfualol Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Positives: Mahrez was superb. Obviously he faded out a bit. If he played in a team with decent attackers, he'd be getting so many assists.
gotwood Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Like to see how anyone defends that. Just ****ing embarrassing. Keep playing like that and we dont deserve premier league. Still, be back next week!
Brooksy Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You lot were taking the piss out of our signings but Zaha and Sanago ran you ragged 2nd half. Hope Person gets banned for that assault, completely unnecessary. **** off
Donut Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 The Macarthur incident was that he went to make a shoulder to shoulder challenge and overbalanced, taking him into Pearson and he stumbled over, at which point Macarthur tried to get up and Pearson had him at first pinned to the floor. Then he did get up, Macarthur made a gesture of what are you doing, as Pearson grabbed the under armour top under his shirt on his arm and stopped him running back onto the pitch, and words were most probably exchanged. Pathetic really. The actions of a manager who is quite clearly losing the ****ing plot.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Do we even practice build up play, we're so static it's unreal.
Tuna Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Lets look at the reality: We're down. Simple as that. Anyone who tries to suggest we have a chance of staying up is as deluded as Pearson. No matter what, he will always get it wrong without fail. We had our chance to get rid of him and the owners bottled it. We should campaign the premier league and ask for the 'R' to be put next to our name on the league table. Tired of this **** and really fed up. Same old crap.
MHC Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You can never underestimate the predictability of stupidity. Yes Nigel Pearson I'm talking to you. Pearson out, Lennon in!
Blanesta Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 We were the better team in open play. They did not deserve that win at all. If you score goals you deserve to win games. We can't score goals, which is the reason for our pathetic showing this season.
HankMarvin Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Late goals for both Southampton & Man City did us huge favours hmmm or prolonged the torture if you watched the last 90 mins
