Tuna Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 The Macarthur incident was that he went to make a shoulder to shoulder challenge and overbalanced, taking him into Pearson and he stumbled over, at which point Macarthur tried to get up and Pearson had him at first pinned to the floor. Then he did get up, Macarthur made a gesture of what are you doing, as Pearson grabbed the under armour top under his shirt on his arm and stopped him running back onto the pitch, and words were most probably exchanged. Pathetic really. The actions of a manager who is quite clearly losing the ****ing plot. He never had the plot to begin with.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 The team don't deserve our patience and perseverance.
The Doctor Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You lot were taking the piss out of our signings but Zaha and Sanago ran you ragged 2nd half. Hope Person gets banned for that assault, completely unnecessary. And you were shit for the majority of the match - we were by far the better side and would have won comfortably 9 times out of 10 on that balance of play. So grow up or go play in traffic.

Ozwin Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 On another day we win that, their keeper's had a great game. Thought James and Cambiasso were decent, it's the same old thing though where Cambiasso is miles ahead of the game and everyone else is trailing him though. Defense is clearly where the issues lie if you ask me as I don't think we're nearly as bad going forward as people think. Hopefully Huth sures that up because it's like a rickety old foundation and the house is just waiting to fall down every game.
J.Lisemore Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 So so angry right now. We had enough chances to win 2 games never mind 1. Sick joke how Palace won that.
MHC Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You lot were taking the piss out of our signings but Zaha and Sanago ran you ragged 2nd half. Leicester = big football club trapped in miniature football clubs body.
Vardinhio Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 In fairness Sanogo owned Morgan when he came on.
Callabinho Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Positives: Mahrez was superb. Obviously he faded out a bit. If he played in a team with decent attackers, he'd be getting so many assists. He is becoming predictable, has a blinding 20 minutes at some point and then for the rest of the game is hopeless.
woznotwos Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 A shit day but ffs other teams are just as shit. Look at the table ! we aren't f*****'n down yet ! We are all miserable but get a grip ffs
shade Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 okay I'll put it out there, we need to do something desperate, 352 anyone? albrighton james Hammond cambiasso mahrez kramaric nugent
Sunbury Fox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 You lot were taking the piss out of our signings but Zaha and Sanago ran you ragged 2nd half. Hope Person gets banned for that assault, completely unnecessary. I'm sorry but they didn't at all. You had 2 shots on goal all game. You were crap but are good at set pieces.
Blanesta Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Our team should be super fit come the end of the season, we've had a season of chasing the ball around. it's a great workout!
The Doctor Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 YES!!!!!! It had to be said eventually!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The "you were shit but we lost" poster. Hooray. They were shit though - we should have been 2/3 up by half time. They were awful, and we lost because we shot ourselves in the foot with awful decision making in their box and lapses of concentration in ours - yet again
Larry_LCFC Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Doesn't matter if we're 3 points adrift or 30 points adrift. If we can't win games, then it really doesn't matter. What on earth was Nugent trying with that sitter? More ridiculous decisions from our baboon of a manager. Same old crap lineup week in week out. What did he think he was doing holding on to their player like he did? Does he think getting sent off will help? Unprofessional! Get rid of him now.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 The game had the feel of Preston at home in 07/08 when Darren Carter scored a last minute winner. We're sinking. Simply not good enough. "Unlucky," and "deserved at least a point" are not phrases that will wash anymore because this isn't a one off. You miss sitter after sitter after sitter, you get what you deserve. An abject display of finishing, defending, leadership - but most importantly, spirit. No fight whatsoever. Mahrez, James, Was and Nugent have emerged with a modicum of credit from that shambles, the rest can get to **** now. Ulloa, as much as I like him, was pitiful (and pitiful is being kind) - likewise Jeff who has been decent recently. Morgan has looked out of his depth for the past five months now and seems to be getting worse, be it through fatigue or lack of quality, I don't care anymore - Huth HAS to start with Wasyl as soon as he's back from suspension and fit and firing. Granted we were never going to go out and sign Jordi Alba or Phillip Lahm but if Pearson seriously doesn't think he could've dipped into the overseas market for a pair of full backs better than Danny Simpson and Paul Konchesky that wanted a season of Premier League football, then I worry for his mental health. Every single person knew that heading into this season without improving our defence one iota was going to be gambling with survival, unfortunately it looks like a gamble that's going to fail. The most frustrating thing about it all is that it feels worse because these players and this manager have done so much for our club. It's not like under Holloway or Levein were every loss was because we fielded an eleven of non descript lower tier footballers that came and went through a revolving door. I want the likes of Wes, Vardy, Drinkwater et al to do well not just for the club but for themselves because they gave us last season - and currently, they aren't. It's ****ing horrible to watch. It's never over until it's over but unfortunately we've just not got enough. At least we can still enjoy Riyad for the last few months of his time with us.
Donut Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 They were shit though - we should have been 2/3 up by half time. They were awful, and we lost because we shot ourselves in the foot with awful decision making in their box and lapses of concentration in ours - yet again Exactly, so were shit then arent we, because we flap at the back, we cant take chances, we pick the wrong teams most of the time. Funny how every team every week has been shit and were bottom of the league isnt it
KFS Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Nugent was good today, but when it counted he lived up to the label of Premier League flop.
Callabinho Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Any team that tries to play 4-4-2 in the PL with players of our quality will lose.
talking_goldfish Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Morgan needs to be dropped, he was terrible today. And I understand why Pearson may not have started Krama (even though I would have started him) but he needed to be brought on at half time.. for ULLOA! I've been one of Person's biggest fans, but this loss was in a large part his fault. If we can't beat Palace at home when they're playing that badly we're doomed, doomed I tell yers, DOOMED!
Mike Oxlong Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 What happened with Pearson and MacArthur? Pearson took him doggy style.
Tom's Pasta Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 We desperately needed the first goal in this game and it just didn't go in for us today, another very close game that we've come out losers due to poor finishing.
weller54 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Next three... Arsenal 5-0, Chelsea 0-4... Man City 3-0.....
