In fact, any 'established' proven manager would see it as a hiding to nothing. God knows who we are gonna be able to attract, more than likely a so called 'up and coming' manager like Sherwood, although i'm far from convinced by him.

And they're not going to be appointing his successor either. Sacking a manager and finding a new one are two totally separate things, obviously. You can want your old manager out and not particularly want the new one in.
