Dickov22 Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Kasper 8 Fantastic save when we were 1-0 up. Can't underestimate his influence. Shudder at the thought we had Schwarzer for so long! Wasilewski 6 One dodgy moment early on where he went under the ball as he sometimes does. Otherwise good. Unlucky to come off but we were getting exposed down the flanks and needed full backs. Morgan 7 Back to his best and did well for the goal Huth 8 A wall Schlupp 7 Did well going forward and solid defensively Albrighton 7 Some lovely crosses, loads of effort and did well defensively Cambiasso 8 Great again King 9 Best game I've seen him have in years. He was everywhere Vardy 8 If he could finish we'd have won by more. Such a pest for defenders and so quick. Deserved a goal Ulloa 6 First touch is atrocious but he can finish Kramaric 7 Looked classy again Subs De Laet 7 Made us more solid Drinkwater 7 As above. Missed him! Mahrez 8 Back to his best
Harry - LCFC Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Pearson was our best performer. Got the line-up right and made sure we attacked them fiercely from the start. Tactical changes made when needed and substitutions used well. Only thing that stops him from getting a 10 was that it was 'only' against Swansea and not a top six side. foxfanazer Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Kasper-8 Not a whole lot to do but when he did he did very well. One worldy of a save! Was-7 looked solid first half, only sacrificed for tactical reasons (correctly) Wes- 7.5 A couple of shakey moments but solid overall and marshalled the defence well Huth-8 Absolute rock at the back. If we stay up I'd point to his signing as the turning point Schlupp-7 Handled their pacey wingers well and always offers something on the overlap Albrighton- 8 Excellent game. Always makes himself available in good positions and with Cambiasso's vision and accuracy its a real positive King-9 What a game from Kingy, even without the goal his performance merits high marks. He's the man to partner EC imo Cambiasso- 9.5 A couple of misplaced passes early on but after that....wow! Such a classy guy and our player of the season without question Vardy- 8.5 Don't know wherr he gets his pace and energy from but it terrifies defenders. Sometimes makes the wrong decisions but he's great imo. Certainly up for the fight! Kramaric-7 Mixed bag from him. You can clearly see the talent ge has but sometimes tries a bit too much. Probably should've scored the chance he created for himself Ulloa- 7.5 Much bettet than he's been recently. Didn't have to come too deep for the ball and was in the right place at the right time for the goal Subs DD-6.5 did really well in retaining possession when he came on. Would love him to get back to his best De Laet- 6.5 Got into the pace of the game well. Underrated Mahrez- 6.5 Good run for the free kick and great feet. Tries too much at times Pearson- 8.5 been so impressed with his tactical nous and substitutions recently Swansea- 6 good in possession but thats it Ref- 7.5 Could've given us a pen but overall let it flow
ScouseFox Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Kasper 7 - one great save other than that standard performance. Was 7 Wes 7 Huuuuth 7 Albrighton 8 - 10 for the first half hour or so then slowly faded. good though. Cambiasso 9 - the best player we've ever had. King 10 - would've given him 20 if it was an option Schlupp 7 - better Kram 6 - has to score from that many half decent chances. linked up well though. Ulloa 7 - got a goal, did his job Vards 7 Subs; De laet 7 - handled their main threat well enough Mahrez 7 - lively. effortlessly takes three or four men out the game with one burst. won the fk for the clincher. Drinky 6 - tidy. Nigel 9 & stay. For the third game in a row his starting line up was on point, his subs were on point and his hair is always on point. Swansea 6 Ref
Guest ttfn Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Schmeichel 7.5 - distribution was mediocre but a fantasic save at 1-0. Wasyl 7 - did fine. Huth 8 - absolute beast. If we'd had him all season it don't think we'd be in this mess. Morgan 7.5 - looked solid enough and played a big role in Ulloa's goal. Albrighton 7.5 - just keeps going. The accuracy of his crosses is variable but he just keeps delivering them and at speed too. Also better defensively than I thought he'd be. Cambiasso 8 - some outrageous passes yesterday. His experience really helped us over the line. King 9 - Clear man of the match. Everywhere. Schlupp 7 - asked to do 2 slightly different roles yesterday and did both to a decent standard. Kramaric 6 - worked hard and showed some nice touches but his finishing was atrocious. Vardy 7.5 - worked his nuts off again. Ulloa 7 - scored a crucial goal and did less fouling than usual. Subs: De Laet 7 - did well against Montero after the roasting he got at the Liberty. Mahrez 8 - great cameo. Drinkwater 6 - didn't think he had much of an impact really but tactically a great move from Nige. Swansea 7 - thought they were decent. No striker though. Ref 6 - both teams had decent penalty shouts not given. Pearson 9 - excellent.

Guest Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Vardy was my motm. Think Wasyl deserves a much better score than people have given him. He was the second best CD and much better at full back than RDL.
Guest Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Schlupp is getting marked low too. The guy played attacker and worried the Swansea defence and he played defender and helped keep Swansea out.

Dan LCFC Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Schmeichel - 7. Arguably harsh thinking about it. I can't really think of a single thing he did wrong. Made some very good saves. Wasilewski - 7. I thought he looked good yesterday. Solid. Huth - 7. Textbook Huth. If we survive, sign him up. We HAVE to. Morgan - 7. You've got to hand it to Morgan lately. I still think if we stay up we need to replace him but he's played better lately and he actually did very well for our opener too. Albrighton - 7. So many 7's today. He had a good game for me and the fans were actually right about him. Fair play to Pearson for finally giving him a chance. He fits into a high pressing game very well. King - 8. Terrific performance from him. I do like James, but King was better than he's been yesterday. Another goal too. Cambiasso - 8. He really is terrific. If one thing about him amazes me more than anything else it's his desire to succeed for someone like us when he's already done it all. He's a genuine breather of the game and the absolute perfect kind of winner to have around the place in a situation like ours. He will know how to see this through. Schlupp - 6. I thought Schlupp had a good first half but a dodgy second, a bit like last week where he had one good half at left wing and a poor one at left back. You can get away with him at left back against a side we're superior to, but not one like Swansea. Still, he's showing signs that he may be of some use to us for a few years yet. Ulloa - 7. Thought he looked improved yesterday, and I'm happy for him that he's back in the goals. Very well taken goal. Comfortable. Vardy - 7. 2013/14 Vardy truly has returned. Outstanding energy levels allowing us to press from the front. Only criticism of him is that he should've done a lot better with his ball to Mahrez at 1-0. Kramaric - 6. Thought he showed his usual neat touches but his finishing yesterday was pretty dire. Think he's trying to be a bit too clever with some of them. I'm prepared to give him a lot more time though as the signs are there. Subs; De Laet - 7. Thought he did really well yesterday. He's actually very good at winning the ball and releasing it for a quick break. Drinkwater - 6. Not on for long enough to really get more than that, but he looked his old self yesterday. Mahrez - 7. See Drinkwater about looking his old self. He really is a joy to watch when he's on-form. Cannot beat a player who can just glide past opposition defenders with ease like he does, for me anyway. Won the free-kick for our second with a mazy run. Pearson - 8. Same as the last two games, good line-up again, made the right subs again and despite a lot of his behaviour this season, seems in a far better frame of mind to actually see this through. I've always liked Pearson and most aspects of his management, but his tactics at times this season have been that bad that he lost me. He seems to have addressed pretty much all that was missing over that international break and for me he stays. I trust him to see this through now. Referee - 5. Didn't think he had a bad game. Thought we had a very good case for a penalty though. If that Danny Rose incident is a penalty, then so is that. Swansea - 5. Still don't think they're a bad side, suggestions that they're the worst side to come here are unbelievable, they were unlucky enough to catch us on what was for me, our best 90 minute performance all season. Quite fitting considering our worst arguably came in the reverse fixture. We're staying up. I'm won over.

ithuriel Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Even though Morgan dropped a couple of clangers yesterday and I do not mean he punched a couple of whistly mouse looking things, he still helped with our first goal so no one gets below an 8 from me

Benguin Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Kasper - 7.5 - Fantastic save to keep us in it, couple of poor distributions but to be fair the wind wasn't on his side. Wasyl - 7 Always solid and reliable Morgan - 7 First ten minutes he was poor, but after that he had a very good game. Huth - 8 Nigel has to pay Stoke to keep him with us next season, fantastic presence. Schlupp - 7.5 Prefer him as a WB than a FB, his speed is great and he created a lot of chances. Albrighton - 8 Been saying all season, despite the abuse I got, that he should be in the starting 11, such a positive player. Cambiasso - 9 Such passion, understanding and distribution. Love him! King - 9 Was worried by his form earlier in the season as he is my fave Lcfc player, today was why I love him. Kramaric - 7 Such quality on the ball and intelligence, should have buried 2 of the chances he had. Vardy - 8 - Ran his socks off and had a party.... Really helping us at the min Ulloa - 7.5 Really pleased to have him scoring again, hope this continues. Mahrez - 7 - Good skill on the ball and intelligent play, it's a debate as to whether he should have buried that chance or whether Vardy should have provided a better pass. Drinkwater - 7 some nice touches and exactly what we needed at the point of the game. De Laet - 7 handled himself really well, pretty solid. Pearson - 9 spot on today Swansea - 5+ I don't think they were on the beach, they showed a lot of intent, but not quite up to their usual standard. Ref - Missed a penalty a piece. Danno Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Pearson - 10. Fantastic tactically and made perfect subs. Schmeichel - 8. Made some amazing saves particularly against Oliviera. Wasilewski 7 - typical Was, solid. Morgan 7.5 - another good performance and did well for the goal. Huth 8 - solid as a rock. Need to sign him asap. Albrighton 8 - another good game from him. Gets up and down so well. Cambiasso 9 - one of the best players to ever play for us. King 9 - everywhere. Great performance. Schlupp 7 - did ok. Kramaric 7 - thought he was ok. Looked a bit lightweight though and managed to completely miss a golden opportunity. Some good neat play around the box. Ulloa 8 - brilliant finish, held the ball up well and won a lot of key headers. Don't understand why he always looks so tired after 60 minutes every game though. Vardy 8 - terrorised them. He never stops. Although his finishing was dreadful. Subs: De Laet 7.5 coped really well against two tricky wingers in Routledge and Montero. Drinkwater 7 - he was alright Mahrez 8 - made a great impact running at their tired defence. Won the freekick for the second goal.

Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 19 April 2015 Share Posted 19 April 2015 Kasper 8 - Not much to do but what he did have to do he did very well. Better coming out to catch than previous weeks. Wasyl 6 - Was getting a little exposed for pace, some rash fouls too. Good call by Nige to take him off at half time. Morgan 7 - Played well after a dodgy first 10 where he gave it away twice and misplaced a backpass. Much better with Huth next to him. Huth 8 - Solid, won every header and marshaled the back 4 well. Hope we keep him next year if we stop up as he is the difference defensively. Albrighton 7 - Great work rate, some good deliveries into the box, some wasteful ones too. Definitely deserves his place. Cambiasso 8 - The man is a genius. Misplaced a few more passes than in recent weeks but battled and scrapped. Vision is unbelievable. King 9 (MOTM) - Best performance I have seen from Kingy. Broke up the play and won every ball in there. Deserved his goal and was unbelievable throughout, Schlupp 7 - Little suspect defensively in the 2nd half but going forward was good. When he ran at Rangel he didn't have a clue what to do. Kramaric 7 - Looked busy, was involved in some lovely interplay. Some poor finishing cost him a goal he deserved Ulloa 7 - Took his goal well, held the ball up on the whole better than previous weeks. Put a good shift in too. Vardy 8 - Busy from the outset, caused their defence all sorts of problems. Poor finishing cost him a couple and should have had a clear pen. Mahrez 7 - Came on and looked bright, best he has played since returning in Jan. Must be a tired defenders nightmare running at him. De Laet 7 - Montero is a handful but dealt with him pretty much every time. Good call from Nige to bring him in at half time. Drinkwater 7 - Looked tidy in possession. Think he could do a job coming on in the hole. Nige 10 (Stay) - Tactically started off all over Swans they didn't know what to do. Change of formation worked a treat too. All the subs did well. No complaints about anything. Swans 5 - Nice in possession, no cutting edge up top. Just didn't have the urgency that we had which is understandable considering their comfort in the league. Ref 4 - Missed a clear pen, got in the way of the ball twice, is an ugly cvnt.
