Matt Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Gutted been an integral part of the bench over the last 14 years.
ChrisWoodIsClass Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Hope he goes on to do well elsewhere, Rochdale fans seemed to like him earlier in the season so hope he goes there. Longest serving player?? 14 years, quite an achievement despite about 99% of it on the bench
Guest Bilo Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 He shouldn't have problems finding a club in League One, he's just never been up to it here. Hope he does well.
Sampson Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 30 games in 14 years (and most of them in one season under Craig Levein) is quite something.
TJB-fox Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Was brillant and very popular when he was at my local club, Bristol Rovers. Easily good enough to play good standard of league 1 football and maybe even lower end championship
Gerard Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Less than 1,000 tickets left for his testimonial match. Good value at £30 a pop for a loyal servant to the club.
red5 Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Leg-end How many goals did he actually let in for the first team?
fleckneymike Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 The ultimate athelete, his body was less of a temple and more of a food court at an out of town shopping centre
Lionator Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Would love to see him get 5 minutes at the end of the game tomorrow, just so he's got a PL cap.
Master Fox Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Nooooooo!!!!!!! 30 games in 14 years (and most of them in one season under Craig Levein) is quite something. Astonishing. One of the true LCFC greats.
Wymsey Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Should name one of the suites/stands after him, in his honour, or even give him a minute's applause on 25 minutes (his squad number).
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Would love to see him get 5 minutes at the end of the game tomorrow, just so he's got a PL cap. That'd actually be a really nice gesture, hope it happens for him
weller54 Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 The ultimate athelete, his body was less of a temple and more of a food court at an out of town shopping centre Perhaps we should have statues of Conrad and GTF.. But is there enough Marble left in the world?
Guest kristianity77 Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 In seriousness though. I wonder how much money he has chalked up over the years playing for Leicester considering like others have said hes played 30 games in 14 years? What do we reckon he was on a week on average over his stint, a grand or two?
Wymsey Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 £10k per week at the most, personally; due to obvious little involvement on matchdays; and considering that he's just done nothing over the years overall, the club perhaps felt sorry for him and gave him a small rise here and then.
6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Must be a part of him that thinks he could have established himself as a first team starter at a lower level and played a few hundred games, and who knows improved enough to step up a level or 2.

Have a care. He would never, ever, ever, ever be on anything like 10k. If he earnt 1k - 2k he'd be thankful.
Bayfox Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Wasn't it 5k last season and he more than doubled it by qualifying for the match day squad bonus for promotion. By making every squad. Not bad.
Sir Fynwy Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 He told a member at Birstall Golf Club he was on 8k when Sven was manager.
katieakita Posted 23 May 2015 Posted 23 May 2015 Not sure about some of the stick being given here, solid pro who didn't make the grade, would have been paid considerably less in his entire career here than some who will rock up for QPR have been paid for this season. Did a job as back up keeper and good luck to the guy.
