RizLCFC Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Peter Leven (MK Dons Midfielder) Worth a look at I should think... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_4894082,00.html
Dan Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 We should be taking a serious look IMO. That would make it 3 steals on MK Dons in 3 seasons after Martin Allen and Lloyd Dyer.
The Stig Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 We should be taking a serious look IMO. That would make it 3 steals on MK Dons in 3 seasons after Martin Allen and Lloyd Dyer. The term steal generally carries the connotations of being a good signing.
Daggers Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I would like to take Delph from Leeds, that would entertain me.
Lillehamring Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 how the hell can such a thread justify being stickied...
Webbo Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 how the hell can such a thread justify being stickied... I wondered that too. Anyhoo, the only opposition player I've seen this season who has impressed was Zak Whitbread from Milwall. A good signing if Hobbs goes back to Liverpool thinks I.
leicesterseddon Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 to be fair this thread is only asking for thoughts for next season...nothing about getting promoted is in the title. although we all know we're assuming it
davieG Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 how the hell can such a thread justify being stickied... I stickied it because it was originally just a thread about the MKDs player but I took the view it was the start of an avalanche of these types of new threads we get every year towards the end of the season suggesting this player or that player. The point of stickying it is so that if anyone else thinks of starting a new thread of that ilk they wont they'll see this and stick it in here. Personally I find them all a bit boring If it doesn't happen how i've predicted it I'll unssticky it. Hope that helps.
mikey54 Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Depending on promotion/relegation issues between the championship and the premier league there are certainly some tasty encounters. Forest, Derby, Coventry look to be certainties. One or two other midland teams as well - WBA, Wolves, Birmingham, Stoke Both Sheffield teams

davieG Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 bless. you carry on believing that Well if they don't it'll get moved into here and they can thank me for saying it from being binned
Bert Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I'm dreaming of visiting St. James' Park next season.
StanSP Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 If we did put a bid in for him, would we be able to compete with competition from Plymouth?? (I ignored Forest because I don't see them as competition, unless he wants to stay in the same division next season )
Chris LCFC Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I'm dreaming of visiting St. James' Park next season. Seconded
maddog Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Jemal Johnson from Mk Dons. Lee Hendrie from Sheff Utd. Dave Kitson Away trip to white hart lane
lookwhaticando Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 We should be building for the Premier League. Whoops, did I come too soon?
STUHILL Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Hobbs, Cleverly, Gilbert and Martin on permanents plz!!
Ashley Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Some possible signings for next season? Joe Hart - Loan Signing? J.Hobbs - Permo Deal G.Kilbert - Permo Deal M.Chopra - Loan Signing? A Creative Midfielder.
Foxhateram Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 I'm dreaming of visiting St. James' Park next season. We playing Exeter away in league 1 next year then?

stevie909 Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 hmm toughie. delfouneso - loan chris eagles marton fulop or other premiership experienced keeper and hell, complete the east midlands merry-go-round and give earnshaw a pop
Koke Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 Joe Lewis? He's got a good reputation but is he any good at all?
egg_fried_rice Posted 5 February 2009 Posted 5 February 2009 A slightly more realistic option than Joe Hart - Kasper Schmeichel. He has already stated that he wants to move out on loan. Was very impressed with his handful of premiership appearances but I don't think players like him have much of a future at Man City. Martin is improving game by game but still doesn't fill me with confidence, although I can see Pearson making his signing permanent.
