foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 We have finally got everything back to within our own hands... we honestly have a great chance of survival now, scoring goals and playing well... better than others around us
shailen Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 King and Cambiasso look so good together. King has to start the next game. Albrighton was decent. I really like the front three of Ulloa, Nuge and Vardy. I see no reason to change it.
Kitchandro Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Well we're winning in spite of Pearson's errors it has to be said. Set pieces nearly cost us again, as did playing Ulloa instead of Krama as he cost us a goal and missed a sitter (although yeh he did win one header all game out of about 100 aerial duels and it lead to the goal so Pearson is a genius). We're actually ok going forward when we throw the kitchen sink at it, but seem incapable of even trying to score away from home until we absolutely have to. We've given ourselves a chance but we have to win next week, against a better side, and we can't afford some of the mistakes we made today. Vardy has pulled it out of the fire today, well done to him, cos if he hadn't scored that I really do think it would have been over. Huth is our best centre back by far. Still lots of work to do, can we try working on corners for a week to start with? Nah probs not. If we're going to stay up it's going to be messy, we look embarrassingly incompetent at times, defensively mainly, and certain individuals who can't play football (Schlupp), but when we get it right we're good. I think there'll be a few more games like today which could have gone either way, we've got to just hope they go our way. Here's to Vardy, he's kept us breathing.
Jam Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 On the coach waiting to come back, Albrighton was absolutely sensational. Atmosphere in the away end was amazing so loud all match. Proud Fox!
1993fox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 These threads always go well. Tbf I think we've made identical threads about Burnley
RowlattsFox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Just watched the goals, brilliant finish from vardy. Got a bit lucky with the second as it should have been cleared on the line.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Absolutely brilliant! I haven't screamed like that since Knocky scored the winner at Forest, throat still stinging. Vardy, what a god. Knew he'd come good
stingray Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 special mention for our fans. non-stop backing, class act
shailen Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Where is the credit for the manager from all the Pearson haters out there. He brought Vardy and Nugent back in the team when not many wanted to see them back. His substitutions won us the game last week. The so called "defensive" 5-2-3 won us the game today. He put Was on when people wanted a more attacking change. Whatever happens from now on, he is a competent manager. The players have always played well, we haven't taken the chances. Pearson took the criticism for that. Now give him credit when his changes have worked..
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 What a game!!! Deserved the win for the attacking display and second half 343 tactics paid off. Wba went to shut up shop and deservedly got punished. Left ourselves a lot to do due to shit defending in first half. Especially from set pieces. It isnt good enough, we can't expect to out score teams with three goals all the time. However what a day what a win and scenes for Vardy goal were carnage!!!
Jam Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 special mention for our fans. non-stop backing, class act We were fantastic. My Voice has been reduced to a squeak! So so loud! Bravo.
Callabinho Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Oh dear! Radio Leicester now! Bring back Youngy! All we need is the beer goggles back on the air!
Charl91 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Hahaha, BRING BACK YOUNGY. Pauline is certainly interesting....
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 Our strength has always been in attack, we are a much better side when we just go for the win...
TrentFox Posted 11 April 2015 Posted 11 April 2015 I put on the lucky scarf 5 minutes before the goal, my pleasureWhy the feck didn't you put it on before kick-off and save us all the stress ??? Self, self, self.
