WBA Post Match 2-3

I had to miss game, in sodding Venice with wife and friends. They were all laughing at me cause I was in tears at the final whistle. Had to go to loo to wash my face, so emotional. Had to get my heart stray out on case an attack came on! Not joking!

Seen the goals on Fox in the bar down from Station, what a strike from Vardy.

Brilliant night ahead (drinking that is, gonna get wasted)

Come on Arsenal!

Is Pauline Alan Youngs wife?

Is that the women who phoned in last week calling for Nigel's head, the one who was a Liverpool fan all her life then switched to City last year?

Why the feck didn't you put it on before kick-off and save us all the stress ??? Self, self, self.

Was out for a walk in fairness  lol

To be fair, I wore it at the West Brom and Palace games, but I'm only counting the times I wore it from West Ham onwards  ;)

Why do these callers think anyone gives a shit about the ****ing commentary?

Talk about the game you utter gimps.

Well we're winning in spite of Pearson's errors it has to be said. Set pieces nearly cost us again, as did playing Ulloa instead of Krama as he cost us a goal and missed a sitter (although yeh he did win one header all game out of about 100 aerial duels and it lead to the goal so Pearson is a genius).

We're actually ok going forward when we throw the kitchen sink at it, but seem incapable of even trying to score away from home until we absolutely have to.

We've given ourselves a chance but we have to win next week, against a better side, and we can't afford some of the mistakes we made today. Vardy has pulled it out of the fire today, well done to him, cos if he hadn't scored that I really do think it would have been over. Huth is our best centre back by far.

Still lots of work to do, can we try working on corners for a week to start with? Nah probs not. If we're going to stay up it's going to be messy, we look embarrassingly incompetent at times, defensively mainly, and certain individuals who can't play football (Schlupp), but when we get it right we're good. I think there'll be a few more games like today which could have gone either way, we've got to just hope they go our way.

Here's to Vardy, he's kept us breathing.

Seriously... take a day off, will you?

Get some loving action, because you're a right miserable sod after what was a pulsating and dramatic win, which was down to hard work, desire, persistency and some tactical nous.

We are giving this a real go!

Again not the best of performances, a few frustrating players, but who cares.

Anybody who went today will back me up, best away game and atmosphere of the season.

Said to my kids as everyone left the ground singing, it was like we had just been promoted. lol

Who said that? Of course they know.

And why don't RL ever say that the players won't speak to Ian either?

Think it's Dagnall, whoever it is that greets the callers.

Fantastic result, and we have a real chance now, i`m almost scared to say that, for not wanting to put the mockers on it.

It`s amazing what can happen when you let our players have a real go at teams, rather than the ultra cautious approach we have played with for the majority of the season.

I just hope we keep that approach from now on.

It`s going to be a roller coaster ride, because to be honest, we`re pretty shocking at the back, but we need to play on the front foot to give ourselves a chance.

Morgan + Schlupp still makes me break out in a cold sweat though.

Schlupp was much improved in the second half, he needs to be relieved of defensive duties, he just can't defend. Morgan for me, still looks shaky. I'm still buzzing though, it's hard to reflect a balanced view right now.

Quality photo.

Love photos like this.

Oh to be in that end today - I bottled it a few weeks ago cuz I thought we'd be way adrift. Fcking Leicester City you beautiful, frustrating bastards

Absolutely fantastic day today.

I tried to remind everyone of a past scoreline at the Hawthorns a few years ago - anyone remember that 4-1 win?

We looked so much better and positive today than pre-West Ham (h). Again, a progressive formation with the right personnel did the trick. We actually got more possession and clearly dominated large patches of the game against a more or less harmless West Bromwich side who had nothing to show for apart from a handful of dirty tackles and mouthing off to the referee.

In a fight between Tony Pulis and Nigel Pearson, I know who I'd support.

Not at one point did I doubt that we couldn't get a result here. It speaks volumes for the team and the manager that they never gave up. This squad is far from finished and so should we as fans do our best to support this enterprise in the weeks to come. It's going to be crucial week in, week out.

And if we manage to stay up, I'll be a very happy chap.

Onwards and upwards - we're riding on a wave of positivity and so it shall continue!
