I agree. With us using 3 centre halves, we need at least 5 in the squad. Upson's well past it, if he's even still here(?). I'm not sold on Moore, really. RDL is an option, but using him at CB means we're short at RWB. I think we need one CB to compete with Wes and Was for a first team place, and probably one more depending on whether Moore is loaned out or not. Central midfield is the other main priority. King, Drinkwater and James are all good squad players, and Hammond is okay as backup, but really, we need 2 top quality CMs. Obviously, hopefully EC signs a new contract, but if he doesn't, then I think we really should be looking for the next best thing, and someone else to partner him. If we can get Cambiasso signed, and get one more CM and one more CB, I think we'll be set.

I have to say that if he hasn't we should move on .Hammond has not yet signed so as of today we have two fit CM at the club and that is simply not good enough.I just find it odd that there is simply no info as to what EC is doing.I would love him to stay but with pre-season starting this week we must be told one way or the other.
