ealingfox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 100th appearance for Leicester's number 9 on Saturday. 78 starts and 22 from the bench. The party goes on. Worth every penny of that million quid! Favourite moments?
Haydos Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Bit frustrating at times but love his work rate and constant threat. Asset to the club now and seems to be enjoying his football.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Too many favourite moments, but Man Utd at home was an outstanding performance. Can't believe he was £1m, still can't believe how long he was stuck in non-league. Think he still has his best years ahead of him, great guy
Leicester Lass Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 He's scored some great goals. Birmingham away last season one of my favourites. His performance against Man U was ridiculous, never seen anything like it.
kingcarr21 Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Lets not forget his goal against Derby last season either. That goal showed our dominance that season and completely destroyed Derbys hopes of a comeback.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Wba his best goal. Was genuinely shocked when he put that in the net from there. Epic scenes
Guest Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Every time he runs at the GK from seemingly too far away and yet applies pressure to the kick.
Footballwipe Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 It felt like most of his goals and performances last season were vital; his best goals being like those mentioned above plus his (almost) length of the pitch run against Millwall last season was akin to Birmingham, West Brom & QPR, and he's proven that not only can he run and pass a defender but he has an excellent finish. Don't forget his contribition last season in the penalties he won for us time and time again with defenders not able to handle him. To think we've gone from thinking the £1m spent was too much in 2012/13 to thinking it an absolute bargain is testament to him and him alone. He's a confidence player and when he gets going he is unstoppable.
lgfualol Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Man U no question. He has impressed me a lot some games this season, when he has confidence he is immense. He has come a long way from his first season, I remember disliking him a lot, especially when he gave that late penalty away. He keeps making me eat my words which is why I like him. Also enjoyed his goals last season, notably Derby and QPR.
TheSomersetFox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Considering the fact i was too young to appreciate the O'neill days, his goal at wba is probably my favorite city goal of all time
foxfanazer Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Was awesome against United but that goal vs QPR last season was immense
ousefox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 To think how far he has come since he gave that penalty away (against boro) I think is amazing. Also he's got rid of his shocking hairstyles. He will be remembered forever for the Man U performance
Danizen Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Goals against United, WBA and QPR last season. This, this and this. I'd add his goal aginst boro, too.
Fox Ulike Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 He just gets better and better. Plus one of THE best LCFC goal celebrations @ WBA : "WHO? WHO? ****ING ME THAT'S WHO!!!" Automatic "Legend" status achieved there and then.
Bayfox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Barnsley away. QPR away. Utd home and west Brom away. class finishes. Scores important goals.
Swarles Barkley Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Boro first game of last season. Our first glimpse of the current vardy
ealingfox Posted 20 April 2015 Author Posted 20 April 2015 Boro first game of last season. Our first glimpse of the current vardy To think of the Match Thread from that game!
ScouseFox Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 To think of the Match Thread from that game! think i faved a few tweets from searching "vardy pearson" between 2pm and 3.45pm that day. they were well funny looking back, although i think i might even have tweeted one of them at the time .
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 To think of the Match Thread from that game! Was that when at the time, everyone seemed to hate Drinky and Vardy, and they both scored? That was sweet
CPW22 Posted 20 April 2015 Posted 20 April 2015 Feels wrong to point at something two games ago given how well he played last season but I really think his goal against WBA is my favourite Vardy moment, come the end of the season that goal turning one point into three could be so significant. Also, his hair cut last pre season was quality....
