benpicko Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Why can't they just put it in order starting with Kasper? It is in the text one usually, City: Schmeichel, Wasilewski, Huth, Morgan ©, Albrighton, King, Cambiasso, Drinkwater, Konchesky, Vardy, Ulloa, not sure why not with the image though
Master Fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Just seen the team and thought "fvck" this is not going to be easy. We'll make it through, but only just.
Lestoh Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I love the uproar and total devastation with Schlupp being out. Perhaps those in the Schlupp thread will be more sympathetic to him from now on. Or Konch will have a good game and disappear from the contracts-not-to-renew threads
MattyFromLE Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Massive game. That team is good enough to match / beat Burnley.
kingfox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Has to be a 3-5-2 that, about time Drinkwater was given a chance to step up to the plate, Konchesky though as a wing-back is a big no no, this just proves why we needed to buy a new attacking left-back. We will see but just watched Watford start with the same formation, Anya got took off after about 30 mins & they switched formation, can see us doing similar as Konch is surely bound to struggle.
benpicko Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Or Konch will have a good game and disappear from the contracts-not-to-renew threads He's nearly 34 and not consistently good enough for the league any more, he's not going to disappear from those threads because of one good match, hopefully he does have a good match though
-MaTaN- Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 We are good enough to do that and take the 3 points. Fingers crossed from the LCFC Fan club in Israel, we're all excited for the game here. COYF!!!
GLC Posted 25 April 2015 Author Posted 25 April 2015 Stringer's being a right nobhead already What's he said?
Dr The Singh Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Why not keep the continuity and stick with the same team?
MooseBreath Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Pearson trying to be clever again here. Only two possibilities, either we do well and he proves he is actually a bit clever after all, or, like almost all of his other tactical experiments, it's shambolic and we're all left wondering why, after three wins playing attacking football, why did we go defensive against the team bottom of the league. Hope it's the former, suspect the latter is more likely.
bart Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 There isn't much he can do with Schlupp out is there? Be real folks, I don't think Konch at the back is a bad thing. Fine in a back four. But RDL isn't playing so I assume its 3/5 at the back, which is bad when you don't have proper wingbacks on either side. RDL to come on for Was at half time again?
Unabomber Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 If anyone has a stream please may they let me know?
Shambles Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 What's he said? Basically made a reference to the time when an interviewer asked NP about the team waxing and waning and NP's reaction that followed. It was a bit of an unnecessary low blow. He only made himself look a tit. Jason fake laughed it off and proceeded swiftly.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Feeling very nervous about this, the line up doesn't help. I trust big Nige though, come on you foxes!!
Captain... Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It isn't Konch for schlupp that is confusing me, Ulloa, Krama and Vardy looked great up front last week, Konch in for Schlupp if he is injured makes sense, but why switch to a 3 man midfield when that hasn't worked for us all season unless DD is going to play as more of a forward?
Callabinho Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Fine in a back four. But RDL isn't playing so I assume its 3/5 at the back, which is bad when you don't have proper wingbacks on either side. RDL to come on for Was at half time again? If Was is struggling yes, I'm not sure he will struggle unless injury forces him too. Today is going to be a battle, and experience is key to be honest, so Konch and Was will supply that. It's one of those where we can turn to the bench of need be for improvements.
ealingfox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 If Drinkwater plays well then the team almost always plays well so it could work out just fine.
tom27111 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Last chance if anyone wants a stream........ Also might be worth noting, if you prefer radio coverage, it's on the BBC website today as the live game on 5 Live and the World Service
