Sharpe's Fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Schlupp's not injured. He's been training all week. @OfficialFOXES: NP: "Picked up knocks. Nugent and Schlupp didn't make it today, but it gives others an opportunity. Up to them to take it." #BurLei
benpicko Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 No injuries apparently. My fear is we all of a sudden seem to have a real lack of pace? Yeah, other than Albrighton and Vardy, Mahrez will come on for Konchesky once we've got a bit of a grip on the match I'd imagine though
NewquayFox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 4-4-2, Wood on the bench, i think he will come off the bench for the winner......
iancognito Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Schlupp's not injured. He's been training all week. Must be, he'd be on the bench at least otherwise. I'm no fan but Pearson is, can't imagine him being dropped.
foxfanazer Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Schlupp's not injured. He's been training all week.Of course he is. Wouldn't be dropped from the squad otherwise. Dreading Konchesky today!
Riyad_Suarez Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Konchesky's crossing isn't that bad tbf. The other positive from the line up ups imo is that Jutkiewicz is starting for them, never been that impressed when I've seen him play. (famous last words, I know)
GingerrrFox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 @OfficialFOXES: NP: "Picked up knocks. Nugent and Schlupp didn't make it today, but it gives others an opportunity. Up to them to take it." #BurLei It must have been late in the day because he was still training Thursday morning
adam Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Pleased we're playing three in the middle. Might be able to control the game a bit better.
benpicko Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 What's the formation 4-5-1 or 3-5-2 3-5-2 I'd imagine, if it was a back 4 he'd play De Laet over Was surely?
tom27111 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I'm guessing 3-4-3 again, with King just behind a front 2? Konch and Albrighton out wide? I don't really know, could be a few options
Riot Van Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 WTF. Where has the pace gone? Exactly what I thought.
Danizen Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Schlup could've kept Trippier pinned back. Hopefully Konch doesn't have one of those mad moments where he thinks he's Roberto Carlos.
iancognito Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I think it's the best players available in the formation that's been serving us well. Think Drinkwater will be nudged further forward to support the front two. Mahrez, Wood and Kram on the bench if we need to push on.
Guest ttfn Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Trippier field day. Would rather have Konchesky protecting our left side than Schlupp. It doesn't give them much to worry about down that side though.
Tuna Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Who is playing right back? Wasilewski? Konchesky left wing? Pearson lost the plot again? Deary me. Play an bloody attacking team.
RedSoxUK Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Can see it being a 3 - 5 - 2 Vardy playing off of Ulloa / 3 - 4 - 3 if King becomes involved. On the bright side of no Schlupp.. Finally 3 in the middle away from home, and an opportunity for DD to show his worth.
