MC Prussian Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 It would definitely be more appealing if it wasn't for that poor battery life. Then again, using the screen seems to be a finicky process.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 My phone tells the time, and if I don't trust it I can call 123 and the time is read to me, in real time. I then write this information on my wrist and the next time I need to know the time I wash my wrist and phone 123 again. My last phone bill was substantial, perhaps I should invest in one. At £13,500 this will have paid for itself in 4 months, not bad.
Sir Fynwy Posted 10 March 2015 Posted 10 March 2015 The most expensive ones are an even more stupid idea, paying £20,000+ for a Rolex is an investment for the future, it'll still be relevant in 100's of years time, any smartwatch is going to be totally outdated in 2 years and unsupported within 5.
lavrentis Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 i will probably buy but not wear cause im a fanboy
Jon the Hat Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 The gold iPhone was bad. But gold Macbooks are an abomination. They love them in China. Obviously not going to sell so well in Europe. I reckon they will sell plenty. Lots of people buy stuff which is out date almost immediately, sure this will be no different.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I'll just stick with dragging a sun dial around with me.
Buce Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I'll just stick with dragging a sun dial around with me. lol
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Bet they remove the clock functions in next iOS update to boost sales
Blanesta Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 I think it could be good, especially from a fitness perspective. All the big tech firms are developing wearable tech so this sort of thing will be here to stay. It'll be interesting how far they can develop this.
Blanesta Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 got mine, not that impressed Is that the one with the core processor?
MooseBreath Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Looks like a slightly unsettling child's toy. Imagine a grown up wearing one of them. Awful design.
Strokes Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Horrible looking things, I wouldn't be interested if they were free.
AKCJ Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Sorry but if you get one you're a complete slave to fashion, have too much money and a complete willy puller. Plenty better on the market for far cheaper.
Jon the Hat Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Sorry but if you get one you're a complete slave to fashion, have too much money and a complete willy puller. Plenty better on the market for far cheaper. Why are you sorry? You are entitled to your bitter little opinion!
Webbo Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 You always avoid the core issues. I was going to say that but you pipped me to it.
MooseBreath Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Still think it looks like a child's toy. That home screen with the little circles is both childish and creepy, looks like one of those images where those plants full of holes are superimposed onto someone's skin. If you think that's stylish then I feel bad for you. Get a proper watch.
bovril Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 I was going to say that but you pipped me to it. You've got to keep your eyes peeled on this forum.
Raj Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Which w@nker on here will buy one? There's plenty to choose from!!!
Babylon Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 The most expensive ones are an even more stupid idea, paying £20,000+ for a Rolex is an investment for the future, it'll still be relevant in 100's of years time, any smartwatch is going to be totally outdated in 2 years and unsupported within 5. Anyone with £20k to spend probably won't be that bothered.
Brooksy Posted 26 April 2015 Posted 26 April 2015 Anyone who buys these, especially the 17 grand one, deserve to be beaten up and have it nicked imo
