shailen Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 Not sure why we should fear them. Another high tempo, high intensity performance with the atmosphere in our favour and we should have these. Not reading too much into their form, nor ours, but we shouldn't fear them especially playing at home. 2-0 Leicester
Sunderlandlad511 Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 This is torture for me (Sunderland fan) I honestly don't know what I want for this match. Realistically, the scum have enough points to survive with them sitting on 35, surely only 1 point from their next few games should be enough so in terms of our own survival we could probably do with you dropping points....Unfortunately, despite this I can never and will NEVER actively support Newcastle United in any circumstance. I hate them with every pore in my body. Even though it will hinder us it may just be a kick in the balls we need to pull of some sort of miracle run together. So, I hope you lot batter them. They are absolutely woeful and lack any sort of spine to their team. If you lot scretch them with Schlupp? (SP?) and have your young lad Vardy running at them with pace you will almost certainly win. Keep Sissoko quiet and you haven't really got anything to fear. They are a club in turmoil and John Carver ('The Thug' - as well call him) is losing the fans. Ideally we beat Southampton and you beat the Scum makes for one very happy Mackem but at the moment we can't beat an egg
ozvaldo Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 We should win this one, but we'll more than likely make it difficult for ourselves.I think we'll scrape a 2-1 is a dull, long-ball game. But I'll take 3 points anyway possible. Even if they score an own goal in the first minute and there isn't another shot all game. #RespectTheOstrich
Bobby Hundreds Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 3-0 Leicester, they won't be able to cope with us.
NewquayFox Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 Our best win of the season and amend our goal difference after the 2nd half V Chelsea.... 4.1 City.... Or 4.3 City with Konchesky playing.
Mayofox Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 Checked the form table. Newcastle are bottom for the past 5, 10 & 15 matches. We couldn't choose to play anyone worse. So I imagine we'll scrape a 1-0.

Ideally we beat Southampton and you beat the Scum makes for one very happy Mackem but at the moment we can't beat an egg When they came here earlier in the year in the cup game they were probably, along with villa at the time, the worst team to visit this season. It looks like they've actually regressed since then too so really we should put them away quite comfortably, but our current injury situation is a massive kick in the b0llocks. In terms of your situation, i really can't see you escaping what with Hull's recent resurgence and obvious Leicester bias, but you never know do ya. You've been woefully managed for years now which is a shame, but i'd far rather see you taking up that 18th spot come the end of May .
Raw Dykes Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 I was just having a go on career mode (legendary, of course) on FIFA, and coincidentally, it was Leicester vs. Newcastle, Saturday, April 29th (2023 haha!). I thought I'd use the outcome as my prediction. 1st half: Newcastle scored first, Then 2-1 Leicester, Newcastle equalised on the stroke of half time. 2nd half: Newcastle made it 3-2 Leicester equalise Leicester score winner in 89th minute. Result: 4-3 Leicester. You heard it here first!
bluesbrothers Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 2-1 win. Late goal from Was out of nowhere to send the place euphoric, then he rips off his beard in celebration and ends up with an open wound that makes Terry Butcher look like a little girl.
Tuna Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 Could be a grim one this. Newcastle hadn't won this season until we came along to st james' and gift wrapped them 3 points. Start of the awful run as well.
Beliall Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 it'll be tight for a while, im backing us to win though, 2 or 3 goals to 1
Bristol fox .... Posted 1 May 2015 Posted 1 May 2015 If were not fatigued after wednesdays game then i go for 2-0 win,
Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Think we'll win 2-1. Newcastle on a ridiculously low ebb. If ever we had a good time to play em... Schlupp in for Konchesky hopefully. Really hoping Huth is fit but imagine that is unlikely.
Zed4q Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 After seeing the line up.. Feel if we can keep the energy up then going for 4-1 to the Foxes!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Obviously hope I'm wrong but I can see Newcastle pinching a 1-0 win What a c**t I am
Sir Shep Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 3 nil Leicester with Newcastle having 2 players sent off......
