weller54 Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Dreadful for Matty.. But fortunately for the team it looks like Kingy will be back for the Sunderland game!!
Manchesterred Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 I'm not saying you're wrong because your posts have been reliable and you almost certainly do have a connection to him, but how could he know if he needs surgery before he's had a scan? Physio has a rough idea of the injury, 100% surgery needed, the scan provides information as to what part is ruptured/torn, effects and how badly damaged and how effective the surgery will be.

Cheers and thanks for the info. Like I said nothing to do with not believing you, purely my own ignorance where biology/physiology etc is concerned. Never did like Science at school ...

Aus Fox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 They are probably told not to, but if you were playing you'd want to read what people were saying about you . Didn't Alan Sheehan come on here posting abuse to people ? I don't care what anyone says players do read the forums, and wouldn't be surprised if some have made accounts. They do I am Patrick Kisnorbo
Manchesterred Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Players don't read forums. Too much negativity. If they read half the comments people posted they'd never want to play again.
nnfox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Cheers and thanks for the info. Like I said nothing to do with not believing you, purely my own ignorance where biology/physiology etc is concerned. Never did like Science at school ... It's fairly straight forward. Physios and medical staff can assess it by getting Matty to lay down, take hold of his lower leg and push and pull it gently in a number of different directions. Any unnatural movement is a big indicator that the ligament is "gone". The scan (or key hole if you're a cheap skate) will give a more precise indication of the level of damage and what needs doing. Here endeth today's lesson...
ozleicester Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 They do I am Patrick Kisnorbo Im Patrick... and so is my wife

Aus Fox Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Im Patrick... and so is my wife Interesting.... My wife is also Patrick... Are you me? Or am I you? Or are we married...
davieG Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 City continue to assess the knee injury which forced midfielder Matty James to be stretchered off on Saturday, while striker David Nugent has also undergone a scan after suffering a reoccurrence of the calf injury which forced him to miss four games. He looks a major doubt for Saturday's big clash with relegation rivals Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Leonardo Ulloa had a sore hamstring after Saturday's game, while Pearson said Jamie Vardy was suffering from fatigue and is still playing with a painful foot. "You could see Vardy was unable to sustain the energy levels he has shown in recent games, but I understand that," said Pearson. "He has been playing with discomfort for a while, so good on him." st albans fox Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 We're lulling s'lands back four into a false sense of optimism that JV won't play ...........
Ollie93 Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Concerning that Vardy, Nugent and Ulloa all have some form of injury...
cc_star Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Concerning that Vardy, Nugent and Ulloa all have some form of injury... James out, Cambiasso needing oxygen tent after 55mins Toughest game of the season coming up, especially carrying injuries.
Guest Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Everyone carries niggles at the end of the season. Only one of those 3 that won't play is Nugent. He came back too soon and we won't see him in the last 2 games. Same lineup as last week with Kramaric coming on instead of Nuge.
cjslcfc Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 All we have to do is patch them up and get them through this next game. I imagine James and Nugent definitely won't be playing and that Leo and Vardy will be fine come Saturday 2:00 when the teams are announced. There are only two games left. Plenty of time for recovery after 24th May!

Spicer Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Concerning that Vardy, Nugent and Ulloa all have some form of injury... Time for Kramaric to step up
Guest Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Don't think James will be playing... Obviously !!! The three mentioned were Vardy, Nuge and Ulloa. Keep up ITK!
Ollie93 Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Isn't Vardy having to get painkiller injections before he plays? That's a risk that could lead to a worse injury?
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Thank fook its near the end of the season and we have points on the board - team is falling apart! Just cross fingers we can get through these last two games and stay up! Also shout out to Matty who must be feeling down right now after a good first season in PL, hope that when he does come back he will be the same player!
Babylon Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Thank fook its near the end of the season and we have points on the board - team is falling apart! It's the sheer effort and intensity that the players are putting in, we started the season like it as well. There is no way you could keep this up throughout the whole season.
