Surely should have been upwards of 3 minutes stoppage time? Does the referee now decide whether there's anything much riding on a match - and allow stoppage time - or not? Dangerous precedent imo.

It was a dead rubber - decided after 20 odd minutes - with a high chance of a pitch invasion - surely wasn't a coincedence that there was no time added on. Club must have asked him to do that?

st albans fox Posted 25 May 2015 Posted 25 May 2015 As said above - blowing bang on time defused any potential pitch invasion - seemed sensible and affwcted nothing. The referee is the sole arbiter of the rules on the pitch. He did well - no need for yellows yesterday. It was like a training game
