Jimothy Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Just noticed what today's "Super" Sunday game is! If ever a game screamed contractual obligations it's Watford v Palace
ScouseFox Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 tbf if it was united vs Arsenal and it wasnt 12 all this thread would be full of people saying "omg nuvva borin game big teams best leege in world pmsl" so this is what we have to watch instead now
Soar Fox Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Was Middlesbrough v Leeds classed as one of the super Sunday games? I think the Watford game will be alright, most of the time the "big" games are real borefests with teams not wanting to lose whilst being played in a silent stadium.
Donut Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Just noticed what today's "Super" Sunday game is! If ever a game screamed contractual obligations it's Watford v Palace Looks entertaining to me on paper, two sides with threat going forward, pace and energy. West Brom v Everton however on MNF could be a bit of a snoozefest.
Dan Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Yeah must admit I thought FFS when I found out on one of the rare chances I've got the TV to myself I was treated to Watford v Palace but it should be a good game really. Next weeks double header looks a bit good. Adrian is a quality goalkeeper. He could do a lot better than West Ham.
Matt Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Very early but the first 2 minutes look like it'll be a good game. End to end, both attacking.
STUHILL Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 The Premiership is the best it has been in ages. So many teams looking to attack and play at a high tempo, especially the "smaller" teams. I used to think the Championship was great because anyone could beat anyone but the Prem is heading that way. I'm going for 2-2 in this one
ScouseFox Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 if crystal palace had any type of half decent striker they'd be a really good side.
ashfosse Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Considering they're a team that have just come up and playing quite well. It's like a morgue at vicarage road. Terrible atmosphere WYS
Dan Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Considering they're a team that have just come up and playing quite well. It's like a morgue at vicarage road. Terrible atmosphere WYS That's a bit unfair.
J.Lisemore Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Somebody needs to tell Bakary Sako that he's not the only player in the side anymore.
johnny the fox Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 just watching watford v palace.. the standard is shight.. I have no worries.. Deeney's first touch is worse than Fred West's..
Matt Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 For a 1-0 I enjoyed that. Better than some 'top' games that send you to sleep, they're hyping Everton v Liverpool and Arsenal v Man Utd up, the games they are showing next weekend, no doubt both will be good for a Sunday afternoon snooze, hope i'm wrong though.
Dan Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Thought it was pretty dour on the whole really.
kingfox Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Hangeland & Dann dominated Ighalo, brilliant defending. Jurado looked good for Watford. Dwight Gayle is annoying, just throws himself on the floor.
suffolk fox Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Hate watford more deeney day ffs oh and they are dirty gits too glad they lost.
Riot Van Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Don't mind palace. Usually a decent watch and although I don't really rate that ultra bollocks they've got going, they have good fans.
C-man Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Don't mind palace. Usually a decent watch and although I don't really rate that ultra bollocks they've got going, they have good fans. You do realise they have decent fans because of the ultra 'bollocks' and no other reason?
Corky Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Zaha will now get about three years of Tweets after winning a soft penalty at Watford.
Riot Van Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 You do realise they have decent fans because of the ultra 'bollocks' and no other reason? eh? Didn't see anything remotely ultra in their away end today and sung well.
Fox92 Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 For a 1-0 I enjoyed that. Better than some 'top' games that send you to sleep, they're hyping Everton v Liverpool and Arsenal v Man Utd up, the games they are showing next weekend, no doubt both will be good for a Sunday afternoon snooze, hope i'm wrong though. Merseyside Derby is usually a good watch... there's usually goals and at least one red card.
C-man Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 eh? Didn't see anything remotely ultra in their away end today and sung well. I didn't watch the game so can't comment but I'm sure their main HF lads would have been there. Assumed you were referring to their home support being good 'cos away from home they are pretty average. What's ultra bollocks anyway?
Wymsey Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 I can see this season being one of the most open of all time. Quite a few teams that could finish mid-table, Liverpool and Southampton included.
