AKCJ Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 What do you do after a bad day at work? Or a Friday after a bad week at work? When I was 20 I would go out and get smashed and have a good time and put it all out of my mind. I know footballers are different and are athletes, was he actually drunk or just out partying? But it is natural to want to let off steam and not let a bad day drag you down. A bad day at work, for me, doesn't affect about 50,000 people though and it doesn't piss that amount of people off if drown my sorrows in the pub after.

To be fair, I'd say the supporters shouldn't be crying about that. Honestly, if we had a bad game and Schlupp was pictured getting smashed I would not give a damn. I'd be more annoyed if I saw a player putting in a poor shift rather than whatever they get up to off the pitch.

Why should supporters who have paid about 100 quid to watch their team get battered (Grealish reportedly couldn't look less bothered during the game) only to then get home to find pictures of him smashed off his face without a care in the world? It's completely unacceptable and I'm glad he's being punished for it.
Captain... filbertstreet Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 I don't remember being a premier league footballer earning thousands per week when I was 20. Sacrifices must be made. Christ how drunk were you
Nod.E Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 We have now scored as many goals this season (28) as Burnley did in the whole of last season.
AKCJ Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 That would piss me off a lot more than him going clubbing afterwards. Yeah, so he's pissed them off with his lack of effort and then had photos of himself put onto social media of him seemingly laughing it off... Surely that would make them even more pissed off?
ScouseFox Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 if I was as bad at footy as jack grealish but still worshipped as the next best thing I'd probs get drunk every day
AKCJ Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 if I was as bad at footy as jack grealish but still worshipped as the next best thing I'd probs get drunk every day for that reason he probs thinks everyone is drunk and is doing it to fit in tbf
AyewJoking Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 not grealish's biggest fan but hes only 20. perhaps sherwoods fault or other coaches/players at villa for not giving him the right guidance. i dont know the details but the decision to remove him from the first team is the right one.
filbertstreet Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 At least he didn't call anyone a "chap". He did get bitten by a chigger though
ScouseFox Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 sturridge has got a new injury before he was even fit from his old injury. new record surely.
Matt Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 sturridge has got a new injury before he was even fit from his old injury. new record surely. He'll still get picked over Vardy for the Euro's.
Leicesterpool Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 He'll still get picked over Vardy for the Euro's. True, doesn't matter if your in form or not if you don't play for the right club your not certain to go.

MC Prussian Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Because of Joe Hart's injury, Caballero will feature as Manchester City's starting goalkeeper against Southampton tomorrow. More interesting is the newly-promoted No.2 keeper - Richard Wright! I didn't know he was still around, hasn't played in a City shirt in nine (!) years!
