foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Can see elements of ourselves in Watford. Hard working, good pressuring, can attack with pace and have that bit of quality. They are good to watch and sticking it to the so called big boys like we are
ajthefox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Liverpool's transfer business over the past five years has got to be the worst of any club in the world. It's nothing short of disgraceful. Watford's on the other hand is excellent. Still can't warm to them being pretty much a satellite club but you've got to say they do get some bloody good players from it. In terms of buying it's horrific, but their net spend isn't nearly as bad.
filbertway Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 West Ham showing what key injuries can do to a team. Barely left their half so far. Might watch Real Madrid help themselves to 15 goals instead.
Jimothy Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Jelavic is not premier league quality. True, but he wouldn't generally get near the squad. Most teams out side the top ones would look poor playing their 4th choice striker.
weller54 Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 West Ham showing what key injuries can do to a team. Barely left their half so far. Might watch Real Madrid help themselves to 15 goals instead. Nearest thing you'll get to watching us!
gurru991 Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Liverpool had 66% possession today. It's turning into a useless stat in the PL. Leicester have only won the possession game once this year
Matt Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Jelavic is not premier league quality. True, but he wouldn't generally get near the squad. Most teams out side the top ones would look poor playing their 4th choice striker. He was never coming here, we couldn't afford him and he wanted a Premiership move. Just glad he's making a mug of the morons that thought he wasn't good enough for us just because he plays in the SPL. Might be a shit league but that doesn't mean there can't be the odd gem in there and anyone who'd bothered to actually watch Jelavic already knew he had the athleticism and the touch to be an asset to any tidy side. Not sure why I remember that post so vividly, think it's because more than likely I was one of those 'morons' that Finnegan talks of. The post was very surprisingly easy to find as well - Google search: Jelavic Foxestalk Finnegan. Up it pops.
ThaiFox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 What are the odds on a Leicester, Watford, Crystal Palace and West Ham United for the champions league places? :xmasohmy:

theessexfox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 West Ham haven't won since October, so very long
ThaiFox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Liverpool had 66% possession today. It's turning into a useless stat in the PL. Leicester have only won the possession game once this year Agree, it means next to nothing. It's what you do with the ball when you have it. Plus it's so much more exciting watching a team like us rather than some poncy Man Utd strutting which goes sideways. I couldn't believe it when I read Man Utd had only had 7 shots on target in their last THREE home games!
Vacamion Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 My goodness this Swansea game needs a goal. Or some good chances. Or some bite. Something. Just something.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Superb bit of goalkeeping by Collins there
weller54 Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Even an embarrassing Gomes goal celebration?
Jimothy Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Did Anthony Taylor really have to make Naughton step onto to the pitch just the step off again to take the throw?
Merging Cultures Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 West Ham showing what key injuries can do to a team. Barely left their half so far. Might watch Real Madrid help themselves to 15 goals instead. The rugby is on now too
purpleronnie Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Watford, Palace and Leicester in the Champions league next year.
Thracian Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Liverpool's transfer business over the past five years has got to be the worst of any club in the world. It's nothing short of disgraceful. Watford's on the other hand is excellent. Still can't warm to them being pretty much a satellite club but you've got to say they do get some bloody good players from it. It just shows that however rosy your finances everything depends on the player recruited rather than the price paid. Let's hope we know the value of our recruitment team and keep them sufficiently motivated to stay on the ball.
Leicesterpool Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Just too many crazy results in the premier league this season, Watford hammering Liverpool 3-0 is just incredible. Some are calling this the worst premier league campaign ever, how and why? it's the most unpredictable premier league season ever making it more exciting. I can imagine it's some of the big guns fans on the sulk that there favourite usual suspects aren't that good this term.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Just had this pic pop up on my fb wall
Matt Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Do yourself a favour Jelavic, go back to Scotland.
