Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Jake Humphrey is a proper bad bellend anyway
sylofox Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Really? https://twitter.com/mrjakehumphrey/status/701434626347245568 Nahhhh fuchs for fuch all
Carl the Llama Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Just a quick apology for sticking up for sticking up for an Arsenal fan, I will say though I wasn't at all offended by him - for a troll he wasn't very aggravating (to me). Â (Besides, we've seen City fans make much dumber, more infuriating suggestions than his 2 topics )
NewEnglandFox Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Stupid Man City and Spuds, they were supposed to win.. Good job Arsenal on the draw.

Nalis Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Willy Cabellero what a fraud Was thinking the same but typical of him to save a penalty as you post that.
weller54 Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Goodness me.. What has happened to this once magical cup competition?.. Desperately sad to see it devalued in this way! ...rename it The Mickey Mouse Cup.
Tuna Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 A bit sickening really how much contempt Man City have shown to the cup. I don't by this too many games in quick succession rubbish. They are professional athletes with the best of the best in terms of medical and fitness facilities to aid with 'recovery'.
UPinCarolina Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Kind of happy to see Chelsea put it on them in that way. I hope that the Man City fans respond with the ire that one might expect.Â

Shame
Les-TA-Jon Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Shouldn't Man City get some sort of reprimand for fielding such a weakened side? McCarthy's Wolves got it in the PL. Holloway's Blackpool too if I recall.
katieakita Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Shouldn't Man City get some sort of reprimand for fielding such a weakened side? McCarthy's Wolves got it in the PL. Holloway's Blackpool too if I recall. Â Â What would they do to Villa
Les-TA-Jon Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Also Payet best player season, what BS! Apps/Goals/Assists and apps divided by total goals & assists Mahrez 25/14/10 = 1.04 Vardy 26/19/3 = 1.18 Payet 19/7/5 = 1.58 Then there's the fact that we're top too. And West Ham are 7th, 13 points behind us.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Payet is phenomenal imo Of course. He is great. But to say he's been better this season or achieved more than Vardy/Mahrez is clearly wrong.
theessexfox Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Of course. He is great. But to say he's been better this season or achieved more than Vardy/Mahrez is clearly wrong. Vardy/Mahrez weren't bought this season. For me it's between him and Kante for buy of the season and both are exceptional at what they do. I also wouldn't say that Mahrez is streets ahead of Payet in terms of all-round attributes.
Guest ttfn Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 West Ham have scored directly from at least 4 free kicks this season that I can remember - Payet twice, Zarate and Valencia. Not sure we've been particularly close since Mahrez hit the bar against Spurs 14 months ago. Weird that we have been so poor in that regard given some of the quality we have over a dead ball, although it may be that we tend to get more of our free kicks in the penalty area than just outside!
Fox92 Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Blackburn are worse than Villa though!! Â Both of Payet's goals were class, you can only play against what's in front of you. Of course. He is great. But to say he's been better this season or achieved more than Vardy/Mahrez is clearly wrong. Â He said Payet was "buy of the season" which is correct.

Sharpe's Fox Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Kante will be a world class central midfield player, is 24, will play for one of the 3 biggest clubs in world football and cost £5 million. Payet is 28, cost twice as much and will probably not go to a bigger club than West Ham. How anyone can say Payet is a better signing is beyond me.

Could argue a case for Fuchs too, who was free of course, and could probably play in any PL team.
BoyJones Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Be interesting to know if Payet was ever on Walshs radar? He would have been a great acquisition along with Kante. Maybe too much focus on Inler.
