ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 it really is obvious. not sure what statistic would point out that a game is a bit less intense but if there was one, it would show that. because it's obvious. the reason our media and managers use that as an excuse is because it's true.
Foxxed Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 It's a sad state of affairs when Manchester United can't even beat an unpronounceable Danish side in the off chance they may maintain a high so as not to get utterly hammered by Arsenal in a couple of days time. Couldn't they have bought 120 Riyad Mahrezes for the money they spent on Mata? Christ.
Sir Shep Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Well that new kid who's just scored for Man U, assuming he's English I guess Woy will pick him ahead of Jamie now!
Wymsey Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Only one game, but Rashford potentially looks more of a direct threat than Rooney.
Carl the Llama Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Only one game, but Rashford potentially looks more of a direct threat than Rooney. A stray cabbage on the pitch looks more of a direct threat than Rooney, that's how you can tell them apart when they're on at the same time.
MC Prussian Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Only one game, but Rashford potentially looks more of a direct threat than Rooney. Well, doesn't an 18-year old have by default more potential than a 30-year old?
weller54 Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Manure fans spaffing over beating a team the equivalent of Rochdale!! Saddos!!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 A stray cabbage on the pitch looks more of a direct threat than Rooney, that's how you can tell them apart when they're on at the same time. "Stray cabbage" lol Could Terry Vegables be the right man for the England job? Would surely get the best out of Potato, Cabbage and Artichoke Hart
Raw Dykes Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 What happened to the tradition of naming England managers after veg? Graham "Turnip" Taylor, Terry Vegetables, Tater Peeler and the Swede. Been ages since the last one.
Jimothy Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 What happened to the tradition of naming England managers after veg? Graham "Turnip" Taylor, Terry Vegetables, Tater Peeler and the Swede. Been ages since the last one. We've moved on to having a captain who looks like a potato.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Roy does look a bit like a rancid pumpkin
LCFCABC Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 If an English team win the Europa League does 4 in the league still qualify for the Champions League?
Devonfox1884 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 If an English team win the Europa League does 4 in the league still qualify for the Champions League? Yes. Only if say Chelsea won the champions league and finished below 4th would 4th not get a place. England is allowed a maximum of 5 spots in the champions league.
Tuna Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 How long before Rashford is in the England senior squad? 5 minutes?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 How long before Rashford is in the England senior squad? 5 minutes? Of course he played and scored for Man U, instant call up
weller54 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Oxlade chamberlain out for a few weeks... Injured against Barca!
foxes161 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Rashford looks a good talent now they need to spend this season developing him.
shen Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 It's a sad state of affairs when Manchester United can't even beat an unpronounceable Danish side in the off chance they may maintain a high so as not to get utterly hammered by Arsenal in a couple of days time. Couldn't they have bought 120 Riyad Mahrezes for the money they spent on Mata? Christ. They were several classes above Midtjylland last night. Memphis Depay looked like he was back to his best like in his PSV days.
Gerard Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Tottenham vs Dortmund Man U vs Liverpool in the Europa
Countryfox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Do you want to have your face plastered all over the front page of the Mercury ?? ..... get your bet on now for LCFC to win the Champions league next season.
MC Prussian Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Can I just say that people mentioning Barcelona as if they're only human or may or may not cut it in the Premier League handily forget that their front three consist of Brazil's most talented striker in a decade, Uruguay's grown-up (or still not grown-up) wonderkid with a foot like a tractor engine who's already had PL audiences swoon over him as well as Argentina's answer to Ireland's leprechauns (although Messi grants you several more wishes, I may add). These three together currently have a combined market value of 300 million Euro (roughly £240m)! That pays for about three full Leicester City squads (25+ players). Messi alone is as valuable as our entire team put together.
Countryfox Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Messi alone is as valuable as our entire team put together. I know which I'd rather have.
MC Prussian Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 I know which I'd rather have. Eleven Messis... Well, ten. Ok, our current team... with Messi.
foxes161 Posted 26 February 2016 Posted 26 February 2016 Tottenham vs Dortmund Man U vs Liverpool in the Europa not good if we wanted Spurs to play as many games as possible
