weller54 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I know Spurs are our rivals at the moment but in my view Kane deserves to win it over Ageuro. Aguero plays in a team full of expensive talent providing for him and his overall contribution this year has been nothing like that of either Vardy or Kane to their respective clubs. If Vardy doesn't then I'll be happy for Kane to win the golden boot.....just as long as it's us that wins the title. Aguero would be miles ahead of Horse Face if he'd played the same number of games..
Aus Fox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 So despite their poor form Stoke are set to become the top performing midlands club for the 4th season running - Fox sports commentators this evening... Hmmm don't think they can catch us
Webbo Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 The commentator has just said Stoke will be the top team in the Midlands this season.
Dan Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Stoke are somehow in the top half. Absolutely awful every time I watch them.
ajthefox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Don't agree, he's easily one of the better CB's in the prem. Solid, strong, composed and a no nonsense defender. Sakho is definitely not composed or no nonsense. The first two are debatable imo, but the second two definitely not. Sakho makes so many mistakes, often clangers too. This Man City result is good for us surely? United's chances of 4th slipping away.
ajthefox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Stokes last two matches 0-8... Donkeys!! 12-0 their last 3
Dan Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Aguero is the best forward in the league but still wouldn't say he's world class. Has too many off days. He's as likely to be completely anonymous as he is to score.
lcfcliam Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 12-0 their last 3 Hey hey hey give them some credit..... 12-1
Gerard Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I'm glad Stoke have been slaughtered here. Maybe Tottenham aren't as dominant as what we think and they will drop points?
foxes21 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Can see why Shawcross isn't in the England squad. Injuries have messed him up, he looks awful.
Brown Fox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Aguero is the best forward in the league but still wouldn't say he's world class. Has too many off days. He's as likely to be completely anonymous as he is to score. You've got a pretty high standard for world class then! Out of interest who would you say is better than him as an out and out striker in the world? I can't think of many. He offers way more than goals too, great hold up play and regularly wins games for Man City on his own, can't agree with him being as likely to be anonymous and he is to score, as his record shows he has the best minute to goal ratio so he is pretty much always scoring.
fuchsntf Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Stoke fans, must ask the question of their front 5, and also the manager. This group cost a pretty penny, 3 games 12 goals. Poor, poor performances, for international class wanting to be WC players. They are playing in the PL ffs. Tak7ng money on false prentencise. Its not the losses, but lack of real desire.

Suarez, Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo, Higuain, Lewandowski plus a lot of players you could argue either way. But yes you should be a high standard for world class. I'm talking top 10/15 players in the world. For me Aguero isn't. He's a fantastic talent, no doubting it what so ever, but like I say just has too many of those games where you completely forget he's playing. I know that isn't all on him but he to me has always been one of these who'll absolutely twat an awful side all over the place but go missing against the good sides. Bit of a flat track bully.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Stoke are sh*te simple as that, Spurs will come up against sides a lot better than them at the moment

Only Suarez, Ronaldo out of the ones you've mentioned have done it in the Premier League though (And obviously Aguero). Now i'm not one of those "The Premier League is the league in the world" people, It's one off and was a few years ago but I think in the last few years it has lost alot of quality. But i'm quite confident Messi for example couldn't do it in the Premier League, now I can't say he's rubbish, that'd just be stupid, of course he's not, but I don't rate him as highly as alot of people do. I could definetly see Higuain doing it in the Premier League, Neymar and Lewandowski, yeah they'd do a decent job I think, Messi? I just couldn't see it. For that reason Ronaldo pisses all over Messi.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 As mentioned on Football Focus, Iheanacho looks a talent. Decent striker, would like him here - although not realistic I don't think.
bluesbrothers Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Stoke need to sort their shit out, could see them struggling next year if they don't buck their ideas up. Their "star" players haven't been performing for a while now.

Matt Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 You're having a laugh. Look at the defending in this league. Messi would get 40+ a season here. If he had the right players around him is the key point i'm making, the other can 'do it for themselves' generally. I don't think he could stand being roughed up either. Listen, I don't think we'll ever see him in the Prem and there is a reason for that (Well there's a few) and unless he does come he'll never answer the question will he, Ronaldo has.
bluesbrothers Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Damnit Newcastle, you're supposed to be fighting 'til the final day.
