Merging Cultures Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Well done Newcastle keep it going Sturridge should be booked
Fox92 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 "World Class" is used far too often. A World Class player makes it look easy at every level, he performs at every level... People bang on about Aguero but at the last World Cup he was disappointing... Suarez is the best in the world for me. He scores domestically (and you could argue dragged Liverpool towards a title challenge) and then turns up at World Cups and scores for fun too. Go to Argentina and they adore Maradona more than Messi. Maradona won them the World Cup. Messi had the chance in 2014 but missed a one on one in the final. Score that and he cements himself as a great. To be World Class you've got to perform at every level. Zidane - still the greatest player in my lifetime - was World Class. He scored domestically, he scored in Europe and he scored at World Cups (including two in the '98 final). You don't have to win the World Cup - Cruyff, Platini, Van Basten (the list goes on of great great players who have never won it - but you've got to be superb on the big stage.
STUHILL Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Anyone know why Chelsea are playing Mikel at CB? I know Terry and Zouma are injured. Terry aiming to be fit for Spurs but why is Cahill not starting or even on the bench? He isn't down as injured. Surely they don't think Mikel is a better option at CB than a fit Cahill. More concerned about their clash with Spurs now if that is how their back 4 will look if Terry isn't back in time

WigstonWanderer Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Mamadou Sakho has failed a drugs test at Liverpool. apparently used a fat-burner against doping rules which Kolo Toure has used before. What is this fat burner? I could do with some of that!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I don't agree with that, Messi would be the best player to ever grace the PL if he were to ever come. It would be interesting to see if he could reach 40 but I'm only certain he will get 30+ regularlyThat's why I said it was all about opinionsMessi is a very very good player Ronaldo and Aguero also are very good players Aguero all round ability is better for me (in my opinion)
surrifox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 S'hampton score again . C'mon you saints get the winning habit before you play the cocks
promised land Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 S'hampton score again . C'mon you saints get the winning habit before you play the cocks They could have two hard games coming up, saints and Newcastle if they're fight continues.
surrifox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Mitrovic on -why isn't he starting - he is their most potent striker ?
STUHILL Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 S'hampton score again . C'mon you saints get the winning habit before you play the cocks Saints are a very good side. Just hope they still have some fight in them when they play Spurs as they can hurt anyone on their day!
UPinCarolina Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Great spirit in that Newcastle side. Rafa is clearly working some magic.
Focks Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 If Newcastle can end up needing something from the final game v Spurs that would be one hell of a game!
Phube Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Chelsea forming up before the Spurs clash... Come on!
EastAnglianFox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Hahaha Chelsea fans singing "Leicester Leicester win the league" and "Beat Fvcking Tottenham, u better beat fvcking Tottenham!

Phube Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Hahaha Chelsea fans singing "Leicester Leicester win the league" and "Beat Fvcking Tottenham, u better beat fvcking Tottenham! To what tune?
Dan Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I can because check scoring records for both leagues... it is the only thing to go on... no player as any ratio above 1:1 in the PL ever... not even Ronaldo, Henry or Suarez You're choosing one boundary there. You could just as easily say Aguero was never as prolific in Spain as he was in England. Different players suit different leagues and teams. I also think Ronaldo would score more in the Premier League now than he did when he was here. He's adapted his game since he was in England and is even more focused on scoring. I also think the standard of the league, the defending in-particular, was better when Ronaldo was playing in it than what it is now. Aguero is better than Messi IMHO But opinions are like arseholes - everyone's got one Correct in saying that we've all got an opinion but I disagree with that one big time harry kane imho I don't think he's as naturally talented as Aguero but he's a lot more consistent.
bluesbrothers Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Southampton have conceeded 2 to Villa, Spurs will dick them. We conceded 2 to Villa, and we dicked Spurs. HUUUUTH there it is.
Dan Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I'm quite happy with what's happened today really. Stoke twatted again so maybe Monday was as much down to their own ineptness as Spurs' brilliance. Chelsea also today showed that they are very capable of getting a result.
Benji Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Decent day with three of Spurs' opponents showing they have enough to maybe snatch a point from them. A win tomorrow is massive.
