Jace Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Saw him at Boots buying a First Aid Kit. Was it at the Westfield in East London by any chance? Source? Just got a gut feeling this time.

cc_star Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 If Cambiasso re-signs it's effectively a vote of confidence in Ranieri. If he can, then a sceptic like me should be able to too
cc_star Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Cambiasso isn't just some 34 year old No, he'll be 35 soon & look at Gerrard's decline, we'll need a couple of CMs this summer,
Jimothy Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 No, he'll be 35 soon & look at Gerrard's decline, we'll need a couple of CMs this summer, Gerrard is a completely different player to Cambiasso. Gerrard's all action aproach, attempting to cover every blade of grass every game contributed to his speeding decline. On one hand Gerrard, on the other Lampard who's style is much less action packed. Lampard is a year older than Gerrard, bit I still reckon he could do a job in the Premier League, and that's coming from someone who is firmly on Gerrard side of that particular argument. I'd say Cambiasso is more Lampard like than Gerrard like, so I'd say it's fair to say he's got at least a year left in him at this level.
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 The odds on who Cambiasso will sign for next have been removed from Sky Bet's site. Interesting
dbtcity Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Don't know if it's been mentioned on here but his player profile is on the website along with all the new recruits.... no wood gtf or the rest of the players that left
Leeds Fox Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 The odds on who Cambiasso will sign for next have been removed from Sky Bet's site. Interesting Did we not learn from the Manager Markets that they're usually taken down overnight? How much does this now 'depend on the Mrs?' I wonder.
I'mPlastic Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Don't know if it's been mentioned on here but his player profile is on the website along with all the new recruits.... no wood gtf or the rest of the players that left That's intriguing! Come on City!

EverybodyDannsNow Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Did we not learn from the Manager Markets that they're usually taken down overnight? How much does this now 'depend on the Mrs?' I wonder. Cambaisso's odds are the only ones to be taken down. Odds for about 30 other players all still remain.
Leeds Fox Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Cambaisso's odds are the only ones to be taken down. Odds for about 30 other players all still remain. I think the odds for the manager remained up overnight until there was some concrete talks going on, and things actually looked like progressing further than just hearsay. With EC's agent being in London with his lawyer, it seems like a sensible decision for the bookies to make, taking the market down.
Wymsey Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Like mentioned before, if he were to stay with us he'd signed weeks ago. Just think his low-key relationship with Claudio is the nail on the coffin, and it would probably be awkward for both of them to work with each other knowing they had fallen out (apparently) in the past.

They didn't fall out. He subbed him and cambiasso got upset. Did you watch city last year? He doesn't like being subbed period
Grey Fox Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Cambaisso's odds are the only ones to be taken down. Odds for about 30 other players all still remain. I checked the odds a few hours ago and he was 1/5 to sign for us, the next was Villa at 6/1. This morning he was 1/3 and Villa were around 3 or 4/1 I think.

Grey Fox Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 Last time I saw the odds he was 1/3 to sign for us, didn't realise it went down to 1/5! Yep, it def went to 1/5 and now seems like it's been taken down? Not sure if that means anything yet but hopefully it does.

That would indicate that some money has been placed on him to stay with us in the last few hours. For the odds to be taken down completely instead of being simply sliced to 1/10 suggests that this amount of money is quite substantial. Let's hope that these punters know what they're doing!
ozleicester Posted 14 July 2015 Posted 14 July 2015 I'm on it... Whilst I'm at it I'm going to invent a form of electronic communication that lets you send messages and documents to others down wires to a giant network of linked systems. Wires? This is why he hasnt signed we need to get ahead of the game!!

Let's hope that these punters know what they're doing! It's hard for them to monitor overnight. Easier to just take it down. If you think you know he's signing, then it's easy money, even at 1/5. At some point, the bookie will pull the plug on the market. The more I think about this, the more sense it would make for him to go to the states. Or even somewhere equally passionate (as here) about the game like turkey for the experience. If he does re sign here, I think it says a lot about his feelings for the future for the club and his desire to be part of that.
Steve Earle Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Fingers crossed for positive news on this and Kante today/tomorrow, would then be very happy about our CM options for the season. Still need a more mobile CB though...
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Esteban will sign at the weekend. He was never gonna do the grueling week in Austria, the man is too wily and refined to come out and say so. He will give us another year whilst quietly getting his coaching badges, and be Claudio's student. In 3 short years after establishing ourselves as a top ten team the student will become the master. We will go on to glory we have only ever dreamed about. I will then, and only then get over the sacking..
lgfualol Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Maybe he is waiting until after our pre season games. Can you imagine him playing against Mansfield Town
