NewquayFox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Told you he would, your welcome..... Up the City.....
psychonaut Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Yes I don't know the full details but the owners are planning for Esteban to be heavily involved in the development of the club both in terms of players, coaching and marketing. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some sort of stake in club either going forward Legend!! Makes perfect sense from a business and footballing point of view. "We would like you to become our new ambassador and be involved on many levels in the club long term" "I wanna 10%"
Fox 4 Life Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Cambiasso, Kante and Austin would be the perfect summer.
Bagworthblue Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 hmm how much power are we giving the bloke - suggestions he wanted a high profile manager, better players, stake in the club, could it be reasoned he was part of the series of events that resulted in the departure of Pearson? who knows eh? still love him
les-tah Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 This is great news, off on hols tomorrow, glad it's been sorted before I go. Im chuffed for you mate, you can now enjoy your holiday worry free
Simo86 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Off to Watford it's rumoured... . He doesn't play or never has played for Udinese or Granada though
Fox 4 Life Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Off to Watford it's rumoured... . I will believe qwerty over rumours
ballso Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 nice one qwerty, top man! exciting times ahead it seems!
Ricey Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 I sincerely hope he does his coaching badges this season and carries on at the club in a coaching/managerial capacity. It's impossible to know how good a manager someone will be, but Cambiasso pushes all the right buttons.
weller54 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Cambiasso is going to Burnley. Cambiasso /Dyche... Right said Fred tribute act?
Jobyfox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Cambiasso flew into London to sign for Canvey Island under their newly appointed manager Junior Lewis.
ktfox59 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Esteban will sign at the weekend. He was never gonna do the grueling week in Austria, the man is too wily and refined to come out and say so. He will give us another year whilst quietly getting his coaching badges, and be Claudio's student. In 3 short years after establishing ourselves as a top ten team the student will become the master. We will go on to glory we have only ever dreamed about. I will then, and only then get over the sacking.. it has been interesting to read that some here read negativity in the fact that EC hasnt done a lot of pre season training with us, and tie this in with not signing. He was out of contract, shown last season that he is quality, fit and a player WE need He hasnt anything to prove to us anymore. Could go to almost any club around the world, there fore its up to us to convince him to stay, not for him to prove his worth to us in some training.
Happy Fox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Yes I don't know the full details but the owners are planning for Esteban to be heavily involved in the development of the club both in terms of players, coaching and marketing. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some sort of stake in club either going forward Esteban Cambiasso knows his bacon.
les-tah Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Last season this season, Assistant manager next season, Raneiri hands over the reigns after this for Cambiasso to take control.
Bagworthblue Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 He's signed a 1 year contract. It's a new contract rather than an extension. As posted elsewhere he was waiting for he manager situation to be sorted before formally agreeing the deal. I think it's fair to assume that the owners 'big name' policy will begin to pay off with signing like this. We are targeting higher profile players now. Kante due to discuss/agree terms later this week. New bid for Austin next week. why a new agreement? I understood there was an option to extend existing terms. I assume therefore new terms have been agreed. Apart from salary, have there been any other new terms introduced? Is there a further extension clause for example?
ImBlue Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Just a thought, but with the news that Cambiasso is due to sign in a few days, 2 days after confirming Ranieri. Do you think there was a lack of confidence in Pearson on cambiasso's part? Did Cambiasso play a bigger part in the final run in tactically than we are led to believe? And finally does anything think that possibly Cambiasso could have been consulted prior to Nigel pearson's sacking? Considering the odd timing, and supposed lack of reason, it's a possibility.
