Glad we are actually looking like signing him after all this but didn't look like he would come, just goes to show we shouldn't believe all the talk saying he didn't want to sign for us.

BBC reporting that BBC Radio Leicester are reporting, which means Stringer who takes his gossip from here?

The BBC article isn't speculating but stating it as fact.

He probably didn't but he's got no choice now Marseille are out the picture.

Hopefully we fcuked Aranguiz into the same place.

Even so, it's still been reported by Radio Leicester as factual, not speculation.

They're stating what Radio Leicester have said as a fact, and given that it's Radio Leicester Stringer could have just DM'd that fake twitter account, been all like 'Hello Mr Kanté, nice to speak to you, any news on a medical? Allez les bleus...' and gone with that

If it was factual the tweet wouldn't say "we understand" at the start

Yeah I agree, just hope it wasn't a money thing. It isn't to say he'll end up regretting the decision though.

I'm really happy with this if it goes through. Got a good feeling about this one.

Odd signing if it happens. A target of Pearson's/the scouting team before he left. Suggests to me that Ranieri hasn't been able to secure his 1st choice midfielder and gone with the back up of the scouting team.

What they've said is that they 'understand' it to be true, but they also understood Knockaert to be the person on the phone when they contacted a fake twitter account to get an interview with him. When was the last time Radio Leicester actually had any inside information at the club? Genuine question because they've always seemed clueless to me at best and, as with last year, completely unable to talk to anybody at the club at worst

Or maybe he backs the scouting team and their thoughts and have gone along with it. Be positive my friend ;)

Some people won't believe it until they see him crunching Adam Johnson in a tackle. :D

Adam Johnson's tackle is a matter for the courts...

I think you overestimate managers involvement in transfers nowadays.

Managers don't run clubs any more, they just pick the team and tactics.

This is true, very much the European system now throughout the majority of teams in England
