My sources tell me that a contract was prepared and he was about to sign when it was discovered that nobody had a pen on them.

As a superstitious man he took this as a bad omen.

He's now in a chauffeur driven car heading towards West Ham's training ground.

Apparently.

Does anyone really know why this is not done yet?

I wonder if the deal is done but the owners may not want the news to break in Thailand during the weekend.

We don't know that it isn't done, just not official yet

Didn't stop them announcing Ranieri on a Friday night

Are you Sean's Dad or something? He's #neverfunny

No. Don't even joke about that kind of stuff. Sean never knew his dad.

I'm from Chicago. My name isn't Sean. How could I be him? I'm only posting what he tweets in case others didn't see it. He is never wrong on this stuff.

Actually, although rarely used, Is rather than are is grammatically correct as leicester city is singular entity. Eg, is oasis a good band? Is Argos a good shop, is England a nice ace. Etc pendant must leave now- nags head beckons.

It depends on whether he is referring to 'Leicester' as an entity (ie. the club), in which case 'is' is correct; if he is referring to 'Leicester' as s collection of individuals (the team), then 'are' is acceptable.

Leicester rule? Or Leicester rules?
